Modeling and parameters extraction of photovoltaic cell and modules using the genetic algorithms with lambert W-function as objective function
摘要: In this paper, a method based on genetic algorithms is proposed for improving the accuracy of solar cell parameters extracted using novel technique. We propose a computational based binary-coded genetic algorithm (GA) to extract the parameters (I0, Iph, n, Rs and Rsh) for a single diode model of solar cell from its current-voltage (I–V) characteristic. The algorithm was implemented using Matlab as a programming tool and validated by applying it to the I–V curve synthesized from the literature using reported values. The characterization, current-voltage data used was generated by simulating a one-diode solar cell model of speci?ed parameters. The new approach is based on formulating I–V equation of solar cell, with Lambert function, the parameter extraction as a search and optimization problem. Compared with other optimization techniques in literatures, the approach proposed for the determination of parameters are in good agreement.

Multifunctional behavior of Ca-doped niobium-based double perovskite for photovoltaic/solar cell devices
摘要: Smart materials of oxide ceramics are usually in the form of single- or polycrystalline. The present ceramic belongs to the polycrystalline compound of Pb1.5Ca0.5BiNbO6 which has a double perovskite structure with the general form of A1.5A′0.5BB′O6. For synthesis and characterization of the sample, a solid solution casting method, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron micrography, Infra-red spectroscopy, etc., have been utilized. Different characterization reveals that the material has a higher value of room-temperature dielectric constant remnant polarization useful for energy storage devices. Optical equities of the ceramic were further analysed by UV–Vis and PL spectroscopy analysis which reveals that the material can be useful for energy harvesting devices like photovoltaic/solar cells. The estimated thermistor parameter suggests that the material can also be useful for thermal sensor devices.

摘要: Trihalide perovskite photovoltaic (PV) solar cells have a promise to be connected into tandems with inorganic PV systems. In this paper we present p-i-n GaAs & PV cells in either in-series way or parallel connection. Comparisons made for two types of tandems by a non-monolithic connection of two experimental sub-cells and results are being discussed based on simulation analysis. It is shown that parallel connection is always more preferable when the subcells photocurrent is not balanced Total efficiency over 20 % is demonstrated for GaAs shadding effect of by MAPbI3 film, with achieved Jsc 41 mA/cm2 and high Voc, cell has better FF.
