31.1: <i>Invited Paper:</i> Systematic Design of Jettable Inks for Printed O/Pled

摘要： Inkjet printing represents an accurate and non-contact printing technique which has been widely investigated as a valuable tool in the preparation of organic light emitting diodes (OLED). The working principle of inkjet printing is to eject inks from nozzles with a diameter of 10-100 μm to a specified position on a treated substrate, and then the deposited ink is dried to evaporate the solvent to form the thin film with a predesigned pattern. Comparing with the conventional solution processing technologies, such as spin coating, gravure printing and screen printing, inkjet printing exhibits the merits of being mask-free, material saving, pattern replacing easily and compatible with flexible plastic substrates, which is promising for the significant technology of large-scale, low-cost, and flexible displays based on OLED.
