摘要: The effect of the coaxial cable type and length on the lightning impulse parameters is often neglected. However, studies have shown that the coaxial cable length can affect the parameters that are calculated according to IEC 60060-1:2010. This study investigates how different coaxial cables influence the impulse waveforms by measuring the input and output of the cable under test with a 2-channel digitizer. Non-standard lightning impulses were generated using an impulse voltage calibrator. Results indicate that coaxial cables attenuate the test voltage and increase both the front time and time-to-half value.

摘要: The paper demonstrates measurement uncertainty analysis in on-wafer measurement with detail discussion of probe tilt and stage rotation. Since ours measurement system can realize repeatable determination of probe position in X-, Y-, and Z- axes, influences of probe tilt and stage rotation can be evaluated with the system avoiding influences regard to variations in probe coordinates. Uncertainty-analysis algorithm was constructed for the analysis of each uncertainty contributor in case of conventional manual probing and precision probing technique. Consequently, measurement uncertainty with the precision probing technique was a half of conventional manual probing technique.

摘要: This paper describes ac resistance comparisons among impedance bridges in operation at Inmetro: the four-terminal-pair coaxial bridge and the digital bridge. This work has the objective to better characterize the digital bridge at ac resistance comparisons, especially with standards of different nominal values. The results obtained indicate that the digital bridge is in agreement with the coaxial one within parts in 106.

摘要: Following the established two-stage conception for the realization of the ultrastable low-noise current amplifier, new variants have been tailored to meet the special requirements of demanding applications. Changes include new components selected according to stability criteria and new design parameters. For most of these variants, calibration capabilities based on a cryogenic current comparator setup have been developed. The overview given in this contribution will focus on aspects of the achievable measurement uncertainty.

摘要: This paper describes a comparison of two methods to calibrate a 10 k? standard resistor respect to the Quantized Hall Resistance (QHR). One method is based in a Room Temperature Current Comparator Bridge and the other one is based in a Resistive Transfer Standard (RTS) developed at CEM in its different configurations, one of which is the QHR value. In this way we’ll test the suitability of both methods to perform QHR measurements.

摘要: The first RF key comparison within the Inter-American Metrology System (SIM) Regional Metrology Organization has been carried out. The purpose of it was to establish the degree of equivalence of scattering parameters measurements of both 1-port and 2-port coaxial devices among national metrology institutes (NMIs) that belong to SIM region and in support of CIPM Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA). The travelling standards were four devices with Type-N coaxial connectors and 50 ? of characteristic impedance: a matched load, a mismatched load and two attenuators of 3 dB and 20 dB. Four SIM institutes participated in the comparison as well as NPLI.

摘要: In this paper, we analyzed the error transfer function of AC voltage differential sampling system which is based on switching measurement. Then, three factors, the relative phase, the number of steps and the sampling window, that influence the uncertainty of the RMS amplitude measurement are identified. After evaluation of those three components, we concluded that the combined standard uncertainty budget is 0.3 μV / V.

摘要: The absorption cross section (ACS) of absorbers are measured in a reverberation chamber and the relative uncertainty of measurements is calculated. The ACS is calculated by a time-domain method at frequencies in the range 1~3GHz. The average relative uncertainty of the ACS over the frequency range in eight different configurations of absorbers and antennas, which shows good experimental stability, is 0.02 by the measurements.

摘要: This paper describes the setup of a sampling-based ratio bridge for calibrating voltage transformers. The advantage of this ratio method is that voltage transformers with different transformer ratios can be easily compared. Initial measurements of the components of the bridge indicate low systematic errors, negligible voltage dependency and low phase errors around 50 / 60 Hz. This indicates an attainable uncertainty of below 2 ppm for the ratio error and 0.5 μrad for the phase displacement of voltage transformers.
