Multiparty Quantum Key Agreement Based on Three-Photon Entanglement with Unidirectional Qubit Transmission
摘要: A multiparty quantum key agreement protocol based on three-photon entangled states is proposed. In this scheme, the quantum channel between all parties is that of a closed loop, in which the qubit transmission is one-way. Each party can obtain the sum of the other parties’ secret key values through the coding rules instead of extracting their private keys. The shared secret key cannot be determined by any subset of all the participants except the universal set and each party makes an equal contribution to the final key. Moreover, the security analysis shows our protocol can resist both outside attacks and inside attacks.

Texture analysis for automated evaluation of Jaszczak phantom SPECT system tests
摘要: Purpose: Routine quarterly quality assurance (QA) assessment of single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) systems includes analysis of multipurpose phantoms containing spheres and rods of various sizes. When evaluated by accreditation agencies, criteria applied to assess image quality are largely subjective. Determining a quantified image characteristic metric that emulates human reader impressions of image quality could be quite useful. Our investigation was conducted to ascertain whether image texture analysis metrics, such as those applied to PET scans to detect neoplasms, could prove helpful in linking qualitative statements of phantom sphere and rod visibility to quantified parameters. Because it is not obvious whether it is preferable to submit reconstructions to accrediting agencies performed using typical clinical (CLIN) protocol processing parameters or to follow agencies' filtered backprojection (FBP) suggestions we applied texture analysis metrics to determine the degree to which these choices affect equipment capability assessment.

Evaluating economic feasibility and maximization of social welfare of photovoltaic projects developed for the Brazilian northeastern coast: An attribute agreement analysis
摘要: Recently, renewable energy projects, such as photovoltaic systems, have become interesting generation alternatives thanks to the incentive strategies developed by several countries. For the user of photovoltaic microgeneration, there is interest in the financial return of the investment, which is most often financed by public banks with a limited budget. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze variables related both to the point of view of the investor in microgeneration and to the public banks that subsidize them. However, defining the configuration of photovoltaic systems that guarantees the economic feasibility for those who invest without excessively burdening the public resource is a complex task and requires the analysis of different experts. To fill this gap, this paper proposes an innovative approach for evaluating photovoltaic projects based on Attribute Agreement Analysis. Experts on photovoltaic systems with different profiles and experience were asked about 16 scenarios, planned according to a factorial design with four factors: installed power capacity, PV cell type, debt ratio, and loan interest rate. The results demonstrated that the proposed approach fulfills the objective of simultaneously assessing the impact of investments in photovoltaic systems, considering the investors’ and public banks’ viewpoints. In the case analyzed, although the evaluations are performed in a judicious way (Wwithin> 0.85), there is a low agreement between the experts (Woverall < 0.70). In addition, an expert bias was observed regarding loan interest for economic feasibility (W ? 0.61), as well as a controversial perception of the maximization of social welfare (W ? 0.2361). The Net Present Value profile, determined by the installed power capacity of the system, was used with these results to discuss the current Brazilian renewable energy financing policy. The results supported that experts tend to overestimate the impact of the financing interest rate on financial returns.

New quantum key agreement protocols based on cluster states
摘要: A new two-party quantum key agreement (QKA) protocol is proposed based on four-qubit cluster states. Encoded four-qubit cluster states can be transmitted directly by means of order rearrangement operation. In contrast to existing QKA protocols based on four-qubit cluster states, it is unnecessary to perform two-way quantum communication. We analyze the security of this protocol and prove that it is secure in ideal conditions. We also propose the method to ensure the security of this protocol in noisy channel. Finally, we analyze the expansibility of the proposed QKA protocol and propose a three-party QKA protocol based on four-qubit cluster states.

Finite-key effects in multipartite quantum key distribution protocols
摘要: We analyze the security of two multipartite quantum key distribution (QKD) protocols, specifically we introduce an N-partite version of the BB84 protocol and we discuss the N-partite six-state protocol proposed by Epping et al (2017 New J. Phys. 19 093012). The security analysis proceeds from the generalization of known results in bipartite QKD to the multipartite scenario, and takes into account finite resources. In this context we derive a computable expression for the achievable key rate of both protocols by employing the best-known strategies: the uncertainty relation and the postselection technique. We compare the performances of the two protocols both for finite resources and infinitely many signals.

摘要: This paper reviews an approach to secret-key distribution based on the bounded observability (BO) model. First, the information-theoretic framework of secret-key agreement from a correlated random source is reviewed. Next, the BO model is introduced. In the context of this model, the BO condition is presented as a necessary and sufficient condition for the possibility of secret-key distribution. This condition describes limits on the information obtained by observation of a random object, and models the practical difficulty of completely observing random physical phenomena. Finally, an implementation of secret-key distribution based on BO in an optical fiber system is described.

Reliability and agreement of a novel portable laser height metre
摘要: Background Human height is a simple measure with great applicability. Usually, stadiometers are used to measure height accurately. However, these may be impractical to transport and expensive. Therefore, we developed a portable and low-cost laser height metre (LHM). Objective We aimed to (1) determine intrarater and interrater reliability of our LHM and compare it to a wall-fixed stadiometer, (2) examine its agreement with the same stadiometer, and (3) determine the minimum number of recordings needed to obtain an accurate and reliable height measurement using the LHM. Methods We recruited 32 participants (18+ years)–both men and women. Two raters performed assessments on the same day blinded to each other and their reference standard measurements. We calculated intraclass correlation coefficient (ICC), coefficient of variation (CV), standard error of measurement (SEM), and Bland-Altman plots with limits of agreement (LOA). Results For both the LHM and stadiometer, we found ICC values of 0.99–1.00 (95% CI: 0.997–1.000) for both intrarater and interrater reliability. Regarding LHM intrarater reliability, SEM, CV, and LOA were 0.34 cm, 0.16%, and -1.07 to 0.73 cm, respectively. In terms of LHM interrater reliability, SEM, CV, and LOA were 0.27 cm, 0.12%, and -0.32 to 0.84 cm, respectively. As to agreement with stadiometers using one measurement, the mean difference was -0.14 cm and LOA ranged from -0.81 to 0.77 cm. Conclusion A portable and low-cost LHM, for measuring body height once, showed an excellent reproducibility within and between raters along with an acceptable agreement with a stadiometer thereby representing a suitable alternative.

摘要: Fuzzy job-shop scheduling problems (FJSPs) with various imprecise factors are a category of combination optimization problems known as non-deterministic polynomial-hard problems. In this paper, a hybrid algorithm HICATS combining discrete imperialist competition algorithm (ICA) and Tabu search (TS) is proposed to solve FJSPs with fuzzy processing time and fuzzy due date. The objective function is maximizing the minimum agreement index, which is on the basis of the agreement index of fuzzy due date and fuzzy completion time. In the proposed algorithm, ICA conducts the global search and TS performs the local search. The imperialist is used to guide the colonies in the same empire. So, local search approach based on TS is applied to the imperialist to perform ?ne-grained exploitation. The 6 × 6 and 10 × 10 FJSPs with fuzzy processing time and fuzzy due date are tested to evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm HICATS in this paper. The highly effective performance of HICATS is shown against the best performing algorithms from the literature. Experimental results demonstrate the advantages of our proposed algorithm HICATS on the feasibility and robustness compared with other algorithms.
