[IEEE 2018 16th Biennial Baltic Electronics Conference (BEC) - Tallinn, Estonia (2018.10.8-2018.10.10)] 2018 16th Biennial Baltic Electronics Conference (BEC) - Second derivative photoplethysmographic signal analysis of differences between fingers in healthy subjects
摘要: The aim of this study was to investigate the bilateral differences in the second derivative photoplethysmography (SDPPG) signals and their relationship with arterial stiffness. The SDPPG signals were recorded from the left and right index fingers of 30 subjects who had no diagnosed diseases. The SDPPG signals were processed to extract the amplitudes of the waves a, b, c, d, and e. The results showed that the amplitudes of waves a and c were significantly higher in the right hand than in the left hand. The study concluded that the bilateral differences in SDPPG signals could be used as an indicator of arterial stiffness.
