摘要: Existing mobile calibration standard used for on-site calibration of transformer loss measurement systems has been upgraded. Master-slave configuration of programmable power sources is replaced with the external triggering and synchronization method which ensures the system stability below 50 ppm. Resolution in phase-settings between voltage and current generation is now improved about 2-digits down to 1 m°. And, measurement results are automatically evaluated with the corrected calibration values of system components.

摘要: The inductive charging of electric vehicles requires specific measurement and calibration systems. In fact, the measurement of power on board involves DC signals, which are superimposed to a significant AC ripple up to or over 150 kHz, depending on the type of charging system. A calibration method that makes use of a phantom power, based on two independent but synchronized circuits, is considered, simulating the charging voltage and current. This paper describes in detail a solution in the realization of the voltage calibration chain, based on the use of a DC voltage calibrator, an injector and a voltage divider.

摘要: This paper is devoted to the research of the metrological characteristics of the National primary standard of the unit of electrical DC voltage of Ukraine in the range from 1 to 180 kV (NPS). The research has allowed to reduce the step of measuring the DC voltage in the range from 10 kV to 180 kV from 10 kV to 1 kV and to reduce the standard uncertainty of the measurement of the high voltage at the NPS.

摘要: This work proposes an alternative method to assess the calibration of phasor measurements units (PMUs) under magnitude and phase step conditions. Two parametric mathematical models are used to represent the signal and an iterative numerical method is used to best fit the model parameters to the samples. This approach avoids the adjustment of time windows around the instant of the discontinuity. The estimated parameters can be used to calculate a reference phasor with an appropriate definition.

摘要: Electrical current shunts used as resistance standards in metrology laboratories are characterized by a broadband operating frequency bandwidth and are commonly calibrated up to 100 kHz. The use of a current shunt requires the preliminary knowledge of its magnitude deviation from DC and phase angle according to the frequency. The best magnitude performances published so far are limited to 2 μΩ/Ω at 100 kHz. In this paper, we present an innovative shunt design for current measurements at 10 A up to 1 MHz. The relative deviation from DC is less than 0.2 μΩ/Ω and 20 μΩ/Ω in magnitude at 100 kHz and 1 MHz respectively.

摘要: This paper shows a novel method for simultaneous comparison of three current transformer calibration systems at power frequency. All three systems are designed for the calibration of high accuracy current transformers. The measuring method is also suitable for inter-laboratory comparisons of calibration systems/methods. The paper gives a description of the novel measuring method and the compared measuring systems. The comparison results are shown and discussed.

摘要: Nowadays there is more need for traceability for distorted power waveforms. Therefore a power calibration system was developed at the European Standards Laboratory of Yokogawa Europe Solutions B.V. This system has the capability to calibrate electrical power meters from DC, 10 Hz up to 100 kHz. To evaluate the calibration system traceability, a bilateral comparison was carried out between the Yokogawa European Standards Laboratory and the National Standards Institute of Sweden (RISE).

摘要: In this paper we present the traceable calibration of the detection efficiency of Si and InGaAs/InP single-photon avalanche detectors (SPADs). We describe the calibration facilities and the reference standard detectors used, as well as the traceability chain of the measurements to the primary standard for optical power (Cryogenic Radiometer) of PTB. As an example, the detection efficiency of a Si and InGaAs/InP SPAD detector measured at wavelengths of 850 nm and 1550 nm, respectively, for different photon flux rates is presented. The standard uncertainty of the measurements is ≤ 1 %.

摘要: A new approach to uncertainty evaluation in scattering parameters measurements which is based on the well-established method of ripple and a subsequent uncertainty propagation through calibration algorithms is proposed. The procedure gives a practical alternative to guarantee traceability to Type-N and 3.5 mm connectors in OSM, SOLT and SOLR calibrations. Its implementation is described and tested.
