  • Vertically integrated, double stack oxide TFT layers for higha??resolution AMOLED backplane

    摘要: We developed a novel vertically integrated, double stack oxide thin-film transistor (TFT) backplane for high-resolution organic light-emitting diode (OLED) displays. The first TFT layer is bulk-accumulation mode, and the second TFT layer is a single gate with back-channel etched structure. The extracted mobilities and threshold voltages are higher than 10 cm2/Vs and 0 ~ 1 V, respectively. Both TFTs are found to be extremely stable under the bias and temperature stress. The gate driver with width of 530 μm and a pitch of 18.6 μm was developed, exhibiting well shifted signal up to the last stage of 900 stages without output degradation, which could be used for 1360 ppi TFT backplane.

  • Fine metal mask material and manufacturing process for high-resolution active-matrix organic light-emitting diode displays

    摘要: Manufacturing fine metal mask (FMM) is one of the biggest hurdles to realize the ultra-high definition (UHD) grade AMOLED displays for smartphone and augmented reality (AR). We have developed the state-of-the-art material and processing technology to achieve 800ppi or higher-resolution FMMs. The Invar thinning and the thermal damage-free laser ablation process realized us achieving the FMM for UHD displays.

  • Development of triple streaming (HD-SDI, EX-SDI, analog signals) hybrid CCTV camera

    摘要: This study proposes the developing and implementing of the high-definition level triple streaming hybrid security camera that can output three types of video-signals, which are high-definition serial digital interface, extended serial digital interface, and analog signals. In this study, to develop the high-definition level triple streaming hybrid security camera the hardware and firmware software was designed and implemented. The hardware was implemented using image sensors MN34229PL from Panasonic, main processors EN778/EN331 from Eyenix, Auto Iris functions KA909A from Fairchild, and Zoom/Focus controls A3901SEJTR-T from Microsystems Inc. In addition, to evaluate the performance test of the developed camera in this study, we requested for the performance evaluation at the broadcasting and communication convergence testing by the department of Telecommunication Technology Association, Korea. The results of the performance tests indicated that the performances of the product developed in this study were found to be excellent than the other commercial products with regard to the signal-to-noise ratio, the minimum intensity of illumination, and power consumption. The product designed in this study is expected to be widely utilized in the high-resolution security camera market.

    摘要: Tracking multiple vehicles in optical satellite videos can be achieved by detecting vehicles in individual frames and then link detections across frames. This is challenging since the low spatial resolution of satellite videos would lead to miss or partial detections. Failure in consistently detecting an identical vehicle would terminate a trajectory for loss of identity, or reinitialize a new trajectory for re-detection. Both would result in fragmented tracklets for an identical vehicle. In this paper, we propose a two-step global data association approach for multiple target tracking, which first generates local tracklets then merges them to global trajectories. In order to handle the frequent terminals of tracklets caused by the miss or partial detections, the spatial grid flow model has been extended to temporal neighboring grids to cover the possible connectivities in a wider temporal neighboring, so that the detection association could match temporal-unlinked detections. In the tracklet association model, we customize a tracklet transition probability based on Kalman Filter to link tracklets with large temporal intervals. A near-optimal solution to the proposed two-step association problem is found by Bilevel K-shortest Paths Optimization. Experiments on a satellite video show that our approach improves both detection and tracking performance of moving vehicles.

  • The Improved Image Scrambling Algorithm for the Wireless Image Transmission Systems of UAVs

    摘要: With the deepening of modern military reforms, information has become the key to winning modern warfare. The use of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to capture image information has become an important means of reconnaissance in modern warfare and plays an irreplaceable role. The image information usually uses a wireless image transmission system, since image information is intercepted or stolen easily during the information transmission, encrypting an image is a common method for ensuring image security. However, traditional encryption algorithms have some deficiencies in terms of efficiency and security. In order to overcome these shortcomings, a new algorithm is proposed in this paper-an improved image scrambling encryption algorithm based on Fibonacci-p coding. The first new idea of the algorithm is to separate the positive and negative signs and data of the scrambled DCT coefficients, then form the symbol matrix and the data matrix respectively, perform the scrambling encryption operation on the symbol matrix. The second new idea is to encrypt the color RGB image by converting the R, G, and B colors into Y, Cb, and Cr, and converting the normal image operation into operations on Y, Cb, and Cr, thereby implementing the encryption operation. The comprehensive performance of the algorithm is optimal with different image information. Experiments results validate the favorable performance of the proposed improved encryption algorithm.

  • The Maia Detector and Event Mode

    摘要: A decade ago, prototypes of the Maia detector successfully demonstrated a fresh approach to X-ray fluorescence microscopy (XFM) imaging that combined a massively parallel detector architecture with dedicated pulse shaping and capture on each channel, asynchronous acquisition of X-rays as an event stream, and real-time processing of the event data [1, 2]. Today, a number of XFM beamlines that raster scan a sample through a focused X-ray beam to construct images of element concentration and chemical state use a 384-detector array version of Maia for high-throughput, high-definition XFM. The beamlines include those at the Australian Synchrotron (AS) in Melbourne [3], the PETRA III synchrotron at DESY, Hamburg [4], the CHESS synchrotron at Cornell University in Ithaca [5], and the NSLS-II at Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) in New York.

  • High‐ and Ultra‐High definition of IR spectral histopathology gives an insight into chemical environment of lung metastases in breast cancer

    摘要: Using high- (HD) and ultra-high-definition (UHD) of Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectroscopic imaging, we characterised spectrally pulmonary metastases in a murine model of breast cancer comparing them with histopathological results (H&E staining). This comparison showed excellent agreement between the methods in case of localisation of metastases with size below 1 mm and revealed that label-free HD and UHD IR spectral histopathology distinguish the type of neoplastic cells. We primary focused on differentiation between metastatic foci in the pleural cavity from cancer cells present in lung parenchyma and inflamed cells present in extracellular matrix of lungs due to growing of advanced metastases. In addition, a combination of unsupervised clustering and IR imaging indicated the high sensitivity of FTIR spectroscopy to identify chemical features of small macrometastases located under the pleural cavity and during epithelial–mesenchymal transition (EMT). FTIR based spectral histopathology was proved to detect not only phases of breast cancer metastasis to lungs but also to differentiate various origins of metastases seeded from breast cancer.
