    摘要: An electroless plating of Co–Ni–P was applied to a grain-oriented electrical steel substrate, resulting in a power loss improvement of ~9%–11%. The mean thickness of the coating was found to be 2.15 ± 0.15 μm from environmental scanning electron microscopy images. Shifts of the magnetostriction stress sensitivity curves showed that stress was acting on the substrate and was corroborated by a shift in X-ray diffraction (XRD) peaks and narrowing of the domains after the samples were coated. The magnetic property measurement system results con?rmed the magnetic nature of the coating and XRD results showed peaks of α-iron in the uncoated sample, α-iron-cobalt and α-iron in the Co-Ni-P-coated sample. The Talysurf pro?lometer showed a decrease in surface roughness values after coating the sample, which reduced the hysteresis loss.

  • The International Round Robin Test of Magnetostriction Measurement of Grain-oriented Electrical Steel by Means of a Single Sheet Tester and an Optical Sensor

    摘要: This paper reports the results of the round robin test (hereafter RRT) of magnetostriction measurement using the test apparatus following IEC 60404-17 from April 2019 to August 2019. The main purpose of the RRT is to identify factors affecting the magnetostriction measurement, and then to estimate the reproducibility of the measurements. Nine anonymous laboratories, whose test apparatuses are a little different from the draft standard, participated in the RRT. In the progress of the RRT, we identified factors affecting the magnetostriction measurement. Finally, the reproducibility of the measurements was estimated. Doshisha Univ. acts as the reference laboratory.

  • An Indoor Photovoltaic Energy Harvester Using Time-Based MPPT and On-chip Photovoltaic Cell

    摘要: Magnetostriction of grain-oriented 3% SiFe sheets was measured prior to assembly into model transformer cores. Core vibration was measured using a laser scanning vibrometer and harmonic spectra of acoustic noise were evaluated from the microphone outputs. Explanations show why no correlation exists between vibration harmonics profiles and A-weighted acoustic noise spectra. High localized vibration did not cause high noise due to phase differences in surface vibrations, and it is shown that this is the main reason why the A-weighted noise of a three-phase core can be less than that of an equivalent single-phase core. Noise from cores assembled from low magnetostriction materials was not always lowest because of the variable effect of electromagnetic forces.

  • In-situ stress modulated ferroelectric photovoltaic effect in cluster-assembled TbFe <sub/>2</sub> /Bi <sub/>5</sub> Ti <sub/>3</sub> FeO <sub/>15</sub> heterostructural films

    摘要: TbFe2/Bi5Ti3FeO15 heterostructural ?lms were prepared by inserting cluster-assembled TbFe2 microdiscs into a Bi5Ti3FeO15 matrix using low energy cluster beam deposition combined with sol-gel methods. The phase structure, ferroelectric properties, bandgap, photovoltaic spectral response, and performances of the ferroelectric photovoltaic effect were modulated by the in situ stress driven by magnetostriction of TbFe2 clusters under external magnetic ?elds. The short-circuit current, open-circuit voltage, and power conversation ef?cient increase with the in situ stress, reaching 0.026 mA/cm2, 9.5 V, and 5.88 (cid:2) 10(cid:3)2%, respectively, under a maximum in-stress of 0.075 GPa. So the high open-circuit voltage above bandgap is attributed to the distinct bandgap shifting and the effective separation of photogenerated electron-hole pairs derived from the in situ stress induced large built-in ?eld. The in situ stress dominated symmetry breaking contributes to the improvement of the power conversation coef?cient. The in situ dynamic internal stress provides a high ef?cient approach to modulate and improve ferroelectric photovoltaic effects.

  • Highly Sensitive Surface Acoustic Wave Magnetic Field Sensor Using Multilayered TbCo2/FeCo Thin Film

    摘要: Over the last decades, the use of Surface Acoustic Waves (SAW) has emerged as a promising technology in many applications such as filters, signal processing but also sensors. We report the fabrication and the characterization of a SAW delay line magnetic field sensor using uniaxial multi-layered 14×[TbCo2(3.7nm)/FeCo(4nm)] nanostructured thin film deposited on Y36° Lithium Niobate (Figure 1a). The sensor shows an interesting dependency to a tunable bias magnetic field with different orientations relative to the easy axis. The obtained results are well explained using an equivalent piezo-magnetic model described in a previous work.

    摘要: We observe strain-induced spin-wave routing in the bilateral composite multilayer. By means of Brillouin light scattering, we study the spin-wave transport across three adjacent magnonic stripes, which are strain coupled to a piezoelectric layer. The strain may effectively induce voltage-controlled dipolar spin-wave interactions. We experimentally demonstrate the basic features of the voltage-controlled spin-wave switching. We show that the spin-wave characteristics can be tuned with an electrical field due to piezoelectricity and magnetostriction of the piezolayer and layered composite and mechanical coupling between them.
