    摘要: Mechatronic Integrated Devices (MID) offer a high level of functional integration, miniaturization and allow a reduction of utilized components. Due to these benefits, the MID technology is constantly pushing forward into new application fields, e.g. for internet of things products. Most smart devices are equipped with sensors and have wireless capabilities to send and receive data. As the market requires faster transmission rates and higher frequencies, microwave technology is gaining more and more significance. One promising technology in order to enable highly integrated products is printed electronics. In this work, the suitability of a novel aerosol-based printing system is evaluated by generating microstrip lines. The created structures are characterized geometrically with a laser scan microscope and electrically with a network analyzer.

  • Two-Dimensional Imaging Based on Near-Field Focused Array Antenna

    摘要: In this letter, a near-field focused array antenna is applied to two-dimensional (2-D) microwave imaging, which steers its focus on the designed focal plane by changing the operating frequency and by phase control in two directions, respectively. The imaging system is composed of this array and two microstrip antennas, as receiver and transmitters, respectively. Simulations and measurements have proved the feasibility of the image reconstruction approach. The proposed method has a high imaging speed due to fast electrical beam scan, and thanks to the frequency scan performance of the array in one dimension, it also shows low-cost property against the fully phased method.

  • One-pot three-component synthesis and photophysical properties of highly fluorescent novel 4-alkyl-3-aryl-2,6-dicyanoanilines by using tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane as a catalyst

    摘要: Novel 4-alkyl-3-aryl-2,6-dicyanoanilines were synthesized by a multi-component one-step reaction of aromatic aldehyde, malononitrile and aliphatic aldehyde using tris(hydroxymethyl)aminomethane (THAM) as a catalyst under microwave (MW) irradiation or conventional heating. The optimized reaction condition involved use of 2.5 equivalents of THAM under MW irradiation at 140 W using 20 % MW power for 5 min or conventional heating at 80 °C for 8 h in dimethylformamide. The photophysical properties including λmax, quantum yield and Stokes’ shifts of newly synthesized molecules were studied. All compounds exhibited quantum yield in the range of 0.04 to 0.52 with respect to standard quinine sulphate having quantum yield 0.54. The Stokes’ shifts of all compounds were found in the range of 41-105 nm. The current strategy provides operationally simple protocol using THAM as a catalyst to synthesize 4-alkyl-3-aryl-2,6-dicyanoanilines with diverse structural features to make them available for exploration of their photophysical as well as biological applications.

  • Entanglement Generation in Superconducting Qubits Using Holonomic Operations

    摘要: We investigate a nonadiabatic holonomic operation that enables us to entangle two fixed-frequency superconducting transmon qubits attached to a common bus resonator. Two coherent microwave tones are applied simultaneously to the two qubits and drive transitions between the first excited resonator state and the second excited state of each qubit. The cyclic evolution within this effective three-level Λ-type system gives rise to a holonomic operation entangling the two qubits. Two-qubit states with 95% fidelity, limited mainly by charge noise of the current device, are created within 213 ns. This scheme is a step toward implementation of a SWAP-type gate directly in an all-microwave controlled hardware platform. By extending the available set of two-qubit operations in the fixed-frequency qubit architecture, the proposed scheme may find applications in near-term quantum applications using variational algorithms to efficiently create problem-specific trial states. We illustrate this point by computing the ground state of molecular hydrogen using the holonomic operation.

  • Controllable Synthesis of One-dimensional MoO3/MoS2 Hybrid Composites with their Enhanced Efficient Electromagnetic Wave Absorption Properties

    摘要: One-dimensional MoO3/MoS2 hybrid composites were synthesized via hydrothermal synthesis; and the flexible MoO3/MoS2/PVDF nanocomposites were also controllable prepared by combining the composites with polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) matrix. The MoO3/MoS2/PVDF hybrids with low filler content (20 wt%) exhibited distinct microwave absorption properties in the range of 2 - 18 GHz. The minimum reflection loss can reach -38.5 dB at 8.7 GHz, and the reflection loss was less than -10 dB in the frequency range from 3.03 to 11.02 GHz with an absorber thickness of 2.0 - 5.0 mm. The MoO3/MoS2/PVDF nanocomposites exhibited better absorption properties than pure MoO3 and MoS2. The possible microwave absorbing mechanism was also discussed in detail.

  • Electronic mobility and crystal structures of 2,5-dimethylanilinium triiodide and tin-based organic-inorganic hybrid compounds

    摘要: We synthesize single crystals of a new 2,5-dimethylanilinium tin iodide organic-inorganic hybrid compound and 2,5-dimethylanilinium triiodide. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction reveals that the hybrid grows as a unique rhombohedral structure consisting of one-dimensional chains of SnI6-octahedra that share corners and edges to build up a ribbon along the [111] direction. Notably, we find that hypophosphorous acid, H3PO2, is of central importance to the formation of this hybrid. In the absence of H3PO2, we synthesize 2,5-dimethylanilinium triiodide from the same starting compounds. We investigate the synthesis routes that drive the growth of these two compounds with distinct crystal structures, appearance and properties. Pulse-radiolysis time-resolved microwave conductivity measurements and density functional theory calculations reveal that both compounds have low charge carrier mobilities and very long lifetimes, consistent with their one-dimensional structural characteristics. Our findings give a better understanding of the relation between synthesis, crystal structures and charge carrier mobilities.

  • Ultra-broadband metamaterial absorber with graphene composites fabricated by 3D printing

    摘要: An ultra-broadband electromagnetic (EM) absorber composed of composite metamaterials was designed, fabricated and characterized. Polylactic-acid/reduced graphene oxide (PLA/RGO) composites with different amounts of RGO were prepared as a primary material collection. To provide good impedance matching and efficient wave attenuation, the multilayer absorbers were designed with a gradient index (GRIN) of characteristic impedance by manipulating the RGO content and the geometric parameters of the unit cell. The absorbers with different numbers of layers were fabricated by a material extrusion process, and then the reflection loss (RL) of the prepared samples was measured. Results showed that the methodology for designing a metamaterial absorber with gradient impedance and fabricating through a 3D printing process was effective in producing ultra-broadband absorbers. The seven-layer absorber achieved an absorption above 90% in a broad bandwidth of 4.5–40 GHz. This work could provide inspiration for upgrading the performance of some conventional absorbing composites through a rational design of the composite proportion and structure.

  • Real-time adaptive optical self-interference cancellation system for in-band full-duplex transmission

    摘要: A real-time adaptive optical self-interference cancellation (RTA-OSIC) system is proposed and demonstrated for in-band full-duplex transmission. The RTA-OSIC system is controlled automatically by adaptive algorithm running on a real-time microcontroller STM32. Modified Hooke-Jeeves (MHJ) algorithm is proposed to search the optimal optical parameters more rapidly. Experimental results show that the MHJ algorithm requires 15-25 samples to find the optimal point. The RTA-OSIC system achieves more than 22 dB cancellation depth within 0-700MHz frequency band. Compared with the existing adaptive OSIC system which uses the Nelder–Mead Simplex algorithm, there are 60% less samples for our RTA-OSIC system with MHJ algorithm.

  • Microwave plasma torch synthesis of Zn Al oxides as adsorbent and photocatalyst for organic compounds removal

    摘要: Zn-Al based oxides were synthesized using a microwave plasma torch (MPT) in which the precursors were introduced into the reaction chamber either upstream or downstream of the inlet, respectively. Zn\Al layered doubled oxide (LDO) samples with a layer-by-layer structure obtained from the downstream path exhibited high adsorption capacity for anionic species, i.e., acid red 27 (AR27) and methyl orange (MO) dyes through hydrogen bonding and electrostatic interaction. The adsorption behavior follows a pseudo-second-order model and the Langmuir isotherm, suggesting that chemisorption of adsorbate on the adsorbent surface plays a significant role. Zn\Al oxide (ZAO) powders prepared from the upstream path show high crystallinity, enabling them to photocatalytically degrade methyl blue (MB) dye solution under UV and visible light irradiation. The crystallization mechanisms for ZAO and LDO prepared by the MPT method were also proposed in this study. In summary, the MPT process is a facile, rapid, scalable, and cost-effective method for synthesizing of Zn\Al based materials for many practical applications.

  • Facile preparation of KBiO <sub/>3</sub> /g-C <sub/>3</sub> N <sub/>4</sub> composites with microwave irradiation for photocatalytic hydrogen production

    摘要: BACKGROUND: KBiO3/g-C3N4 composites were prepared under microwave irradiation to different weight ratio of KBiO3 (5, 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70 80, 90 %wt) using a Mars-6 for 30 min at 100 W. The samples were characterization by XRD, FT-IR, SEM, EDS-Mapping, N2 physisorption and DRS. The photocatalytic activity of the samples was evaluated in the hydrogen evolution reaction. RESULTS: The composites were confirmed by XRD, where was observed that the samples up to 60% of KBiO3 it is easy to identify the characteristic peak of g-C3N4. Composites show that KBiO3 was homogeneously dispersed on g-C3N4 according to what was observed by EDS-Mapping. In the photocatalytic tests was observed that when the concentration of g-C3N4 is greater than KBiO3 but up to a certain limit, there is a higher production of hydrogen. CONCLUSIONS: KBiO3/g-C3N4 composites were prepared successfully with microwave irradiation reaching a good synergy between both materials for hydrogen production reaction. This synergy was improved to the use of microwave that facilitates the dispersion and binding of both materials. The sample with best hydrogen production was 40%KBiO3/60%C3N4 with 698 μmol H2/g, which is about 3 times higher than g-C3N4 and 7 times higher than KBiO3.
