[IEEE IGARSS 2018 - 2018 IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium - Valencia (2018.7.22-2018.7.27)] IGARSS 2018 - 2018 IEEE International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium - Repeat-Pass Spaceborne Transmitter-Stationary Receiver Bistatic Sar Interferometry - First Results
摘要: This paper presents the first results obtained by repeat-pass bistatic synthetic aperture radar (SAR) interferometry using a fixed C-band ground-based receiver and the Sentinel-1A/B satellites as transmitters of opportunity. The methodology developed to obtain repeat-pass bistatic SAR interferograms uses as input a stack of range compressed bistatic acquisition data and mainly consists in the following stages: raw interferograms computation on a two-dimensional grid in ground geometry, atmospheric phase screen removal and topographic phase compensation. The displacements of a high-rise building were estimated using two stacks of bistatic SAR images acquired between April-June 2017 over an area of Bucharest city, Romania.

On the reliability (repeatability) of single pachymetry measures taken with specular microscope-based assessments of the human corneal endothelium
摘要: Purpose: To assess agreement between 3 measures of central corneal thickness (CCT) taken over a few minutes from nominally normal eyes with a non-contact specular microscope. Methods: 100 eyes from 100 healthy adults (with an average age of 22 y) were assessed using the Topcon 3000 P instrument to obtain a high quality image of the endothelium and pachymetry. Results: The group mean CCT values from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd measures were 0.519, 0.520 and 0.520 mm, but the sets of values could di?er by between – 0.020 mm and + 0.029 mm, i.e. between - 4.0 and + 5.6% of the average values. Paired comparisons (e.g. 2nd vs. 1st set) indicated limits of agreement (LoA) to be between - 0.020 and + 0.020 mm of the averaged value. Across the 3 measures, the averaged SD was 0.005 mm to give an estimate of the intra-subject variability (as the coe?cient of variation, COV) of 0.91% (range 0 to 2.3%). The variability in the pachymetry measures was not predictably related to the averaged values of CCT (r = 0.022) or self-reported refractive error of the subjects (r = 0.012). Some repeat pachymetry assessments obviously in-cluded the same region of the endothelium. Conclusions: Single pachymetry measures with a non-contact specular microscope are only likely to be able to generate CCT estimates within +/? 4% of the expected average values. This repeatability is comparable to single image estimates of endothelial cell density and therefore acceptable in most cases.

Selective laser trabeculoplasty: a review of repeatability
摘要: The efficacy of selective laser trabeculoplasty (SLT) to treat open-angle glaucoma (OAG) and ocular hypertension (OHT) has been increasingly substantiated lately. Repeated SLT is usually needed to control intraocular pressure (IOP), be it as primary or adjunctive therapy. We review the studies available, in terms of SLT repeatability; and conclude comparable efficacy, with success rate, duration and complications similar to those in initial SLT.

White-emitting protein-metal nanocluster phosphors for highly performing bio-hybrid light-emitting diodes
摘要: This work presents a simple in-situ synthesis and stabilization of fluorescent gold nanoclusters (AuNCs) with different sizes using engineered protein scaffolds in water. The protein-AuNC hybrids show a dual emission (450 and 700 nm) with a record photoluminescence quantum yield of 20%. These features impelled us to apply them to bio-hybrid light-emitting diodes (Bio-HLEDs) as color down-converting filters or bio-phosphors. Efficient white emission (x/y CIE color coordinates of 0.31/0.29) and stabilities of >800 h were achieved. This represents a two orders of magnitude enhancement compared to the prior art. Besides the outstanding performance, the protein scaffold also infers a unique anisotropic emission character that is considered as a proof-of-concept of high interest for single-point lighting and display.

摘要: High-precision DEM can be generated by SAR interferometry processing with GaoFen-3 repeat-pass data.This paper presents the first results from GaoFen-3 SAR Interferometry obtained with two interferometric SAR data pairs at the selected experiment sites. The temporal separations were 29 days. At the site the coherence requirements were met, resulting in high quality interferogram .The experimental results show that GaoFen-3 repeat-pass data have some good characteristics, such as high imaging quality, stable spatial baseline, high temporal correlation and spatial correlation, which has a good repeat-pass SAR interferometry application prospect.

摘要: This paper addresses the error-control issue in free-space optical (FSO) communications. In particular, we model and analyze the throughput performance of FSO systems over atmospheric fading channel when the go-back-N (GBN) automatic repeat request (ARQ) and adaptive rate (AR) transmission schemes are employed. For this purpose, we first build the model to capture the time-varying behavior in atmospheric fading channels. We then use that channel model to develop the burst error model for GBN-ARQ with AR in order to analytically derive the system throughput. Numerical results quantitatively show the impacts of atmospheric turbulence on the throughput and confirm the effectiveness of the GBN/ARQ. Monte Carlo simulations are also performed to validate the analytical results.
