ImmunoSERS microscopy for the detection of smooth muscle cells in atherosclerotic plaques
摘要: We investigated the suitability of immuno-SERS (iSERS) microscopy for imaging of smooth muscle cells (SMCs) in atherosclerotic plaques. Localization of SMCs is achieved by using SERS-labelled antibodies direct against alpha-smooth muscle actin (SMA). The staining quality of the false-colour iSERS images obtained by confocal Raman microscopy with point mapping is compared with wide-field immunofluorescence images. Both direct (labelled primary antibody) and indirect iSERS staining (unlabelled primary and labelled secondary antibody) techniques were employed. Direct iSERS staining yields results comparable to indirect IF staining, demonstrating the suitability of iSERS in research on atherosclerosis and paving the way for future multiplexed imaging experiments.

摘要: In this paper, we propose an adaptation of the PAM algorithm to the minimization of a nonconvex functional designed for joint image denoising and contour detection. This new functional is based on the Ambrosio–Tortorelli approximation of the well-known Mumford–Shah functional. We motivate the proposed approximation, offering flexibility in the choice of the possibly non-smooth penalization, and we derive closed form expression for the proximal steps involved in the algorithm. We focus our attention on two types of penalization: ?1-norm and a proposed quadratic-?1 function. Numerical experiments show that the proposed method is able to detect sharp contours and to reconstruct piecewise smooth approximations with low computational cost and convergence guarantees. We also compare the results with state-of-the-art relaxations of the Mumford–Shah functional and a recent discrete formulation of the Ambrosio–Tortorelli functional.

SAR Slow Moving Target Imaging Based on Over-Sampling Smooth Algorithm
摘要: A novel Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) signal processing technique has been proposed which re-focused slow moving targets based on phase retrieval algorithm. After theoretical derivation, we can get that the raw data Fourier magnitude of slow moving targets is approximate to the stationary ones in the SAR system. By applying the Fourier magnitude of received data to phase retrieval algorithms, the blur and defocusing effect caused by the moving of the targets can be eliminated. The simulated results demonstrate the validity of this algorithm.

Efficient Analysis of Inhomogeneous Dielectric Waveguides With Dielectric Strips and Microstrips Using Discrete Mode Matching Method
摘要: In this paper a smooth starter, based on a dc/dc Buck power converter, for the angular velocity trajectory tracking task of a dc permanent magnet motor is presented. To this end, a hierarchical controller is designed, which is integrated by a control associated with the dc motor based on differential flatness at the high level, and a control related with the dc/dc Buck converter based on a cascade control scheme at the low level. The control at the high level allows the dc motor angular velocity to track a desired trajectory and also provides the desired voltage profile that must be tracked by the output voltage of the dc/dc Buck power converter. In order to assure the latter, a cascade control at the low level is designed, considering a sliding mode control for the inner current loop and a proportional-integral control for the outer voltage loop. The hierarchical controller is tested through experiments using MATLAB-Simulink and the DS1104 board from dSPACE. The obtained results show that the desired angular velocity trajectory is well tracked under abrupt variations in the system parameters and that the controller is robust in such operation conditions, confirming the validity of the proposed controller.

Improved-efficiency quasi-two-stage current-source-mode SIMO LED driver
摘要: The paper presents a modularized control strategy of doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) system, including the grid-side converter (GSC) and rotor-side converter (RSC), under unbalanced and harmonic grid voltage. The sequence decomposition process and complicated control reference calculation can be avoided in the proposed control strategy. From the perspective of power grid friendly operation, the control targets of DFIG system in this paper are chosen as: 1) smooth active and reactive power injected into the power grid; 2) balanced and sinusoidal current injected into the power grid. The RSC and GSC can work as two independent modules and the communication between RSC and GSC can be removed. Furthermore, the third harmonic current component, dc-link voltage fluctuation, and electromagnetic torque pulsation under the different control targets are theoretically analyzed. Finally, the availability of the proposed modularized control strategy of DFIG system under unbalanced and distorted grid voltage is verified by experiment results.

Ti/Au/Al/Ni/Au low contact resistance and sharp edge acuity for highly scalable AlGaN/GaN HEMTs
摘要: In this letter, we have reported a novel metal scheme Ti/Au/Al/Ni/Au for ohmic contact on AlGaN/GaN high electron mobility transistors (HEMTs). The reported metal scheme is observed to show minimum metal out-diffusion and sharp edge acuity at high temperature annealing, which facilitates aggressive scaling of source drain separation (LSD). We have demonstrated LSD as low as 300 nm with gate length (Lg) of 100 nm for this metal stack. We observed improvement in ON-Resistance (RON) from 3 ?.mm to 1.25 ?.mm, transconductance (gm) from 276 mS/mm to 365 mS/mm, saturation drain current (IDS,sat) from 906 mA/mm to 1230 mA/mm and unity current gain frequency (fT) from 70 GHz to 93 GHz by scaling LSD from 3 μm to 300 nm. The gate length for all devices were 100 nm.

Finite-key effects in multipartite quantum key distribution protocols
摘要: We analyze the security of two multipartite quantum key distribution (QKD) protocols, specifically we introduce an N-partite version of the BB84 protocol and we discuss the N-partite six-state protocol proposed by Epping et al (2017 New J. Phys. 19 093012). The security analysis proceeds from the generalization of known results in bipartite QKD to the multipartite scenario, and takes into account finite resources. In this context we derive a computable expression for the achievable key rate of both protocols by employing the best-known strategies: the uncertainty relation and the postselection technique. We compare the performances of the two protocols both for finite resources and infinitely many signals.

Facile Fabrication of Highly Conductive, Ultra-Smooth and Flexible Silver Nanowire Electrode for Organic Optoelectronic Devices
摘要: So far, one of the fundamental limitations of silver nanowires is the high contact resistance among their junctions. Moreover, a rough surface due to its random arrangement is inevitable to electrical short when the nanowire-based electronics is driving. To improve the contact resistance, we suggest the particle-shape nanocrystals are intentionally reduced at the junctions by a localized Joule-heat reduction approach from the silver ions. Via localized reductions, the reduced nanoparticles effectively weld the junction’s areas resulting in a 19% decrease in sheet resistance to 9.9 ?sq-1. Besides, the nanowires are embedded into a polyamide film with a gentle hot pressing. Consequently, the roughness was considerably dropped so that it was successful to demonstrate OLEDs (organic light-emitting diodes) with nanowires, which was beneficial to be laminated with OLEDs under the low temperature. The experimental results show the Ag NW embedding films reach 10.9?sq-1 of the sheet resistance at 92% transmittance and the roughness was only 1.92nm.
