    摘要: A set of FPGA software system for video signal processing circuit is designed in this paper. The system uses FPGA as the core logic control and uses high speed serial transceiver chip tlk2711 as the interface of data transmission. This paper describes the main components of the software and the realization method of the modular design of FPGA, and gives the simulation waveforms and debug results of the main modules. The test results show that the data transmission interfaces provided by the system have a data rate of 6.4Gbps, which can meet the testing requirements of the satellite camera video processing functions and greatly improve the data transmission rate and accuracy.

    摘要: There is need to convert paper books and documents into text. OCR is still imperfect as it occasionally mis-recognizes letters and falsely identifies scanned text, leading to misspellings and linguistics errors in the OCR output text. A multilingual voice creation toolkit that supports the user in building voices for the Open source MARY TTS platform, for two state-of-the-art speech synthesis technologies: unit selection and HMM-based synthesis. For languages not yet supported by MARY TTS, the toolkit provides the necessary tools and generic reusable run-time system modules for adding support for a new language. Here, discussed the design and implementation of assistive platforms, and combine today’s growing technology along with smart phone capabilities with the advantages offered by the high scalable and reactive cloud resources, making it a more economical and cost-effective way

  • Light Field Image Compression Using Generative Adversarial Network Based View Synthesis

    摘要: Light ?eld (LF) has become an attractive representation of immersive multimedia content for simultaneously capturing both the spatial and angular information of the light rays. In this paper, we present a LF image compression framework driven by generative adversarial network (GAN) based sub-aperture image (SAI) generation and cascaded hierarchical coding structure. Speci?cally, we sparsely sample the SAIs in LF and propose the generative adversarial network of LF (LF-GAN) to generate the unsampled SAIs by analogy with adversarial learning conditioned on its surrounding contexts. In particular, LF-GAN learns to interpret both the angular and spatial context of the LF structure, and meanwhile generates intermediate hypothesis for the unsampled SAIs in a certain position. Subsequently, the sampled SAIs and the residues of the generated-unsampled SAIs are re-organized as pseudo-sequences and compressed by standard video codecs. Finally, the hierarchical coding structure is adopted for the sampled SAI to effectively remove the inter-view redundancies. During the training process of LF-GAN, the pixel-wise Euclidean loss as well as the adversarial loss are chosen as the optimization objective, such that sharp textures with less blurring in details can be produced. Extensive experimental results show that the proposed LF-GAN based LF image compression framework outperforms the state-of-the-art learning based LF image compression approach with on average 4.9% BD-rate reductions over multiple LF datasets.

  • Novel Green Synthesis of Graphene Layers using Zante Currants and Graphene Oxide

    摘要: The present work shows a facile route for the preparation of graphene layers and for the first time Zante currants extract used for the effective deoxygenation of graphene oxide has been reported. Zante currants (ZC) extract reduce effectively GO into few layered structures of graphene (FLG). The morphology of few layers graphene and graphene oxide (GO) were investigated by SEM and TEM. Reduction effect on graphene oxide confirm by other technique like Raman, FTIR, XRD and UV spectrophotometry. This procedure keep away the use of hazardous chemicals, thus providing a new hope for large scale production of chemically reduced graphene.

  • Scandium Molybdate Microstructures with Tunable Phase and Morphology: Microwave Synthesis, Theoretical Calculations, and Photoluminescence Properties

    摘要: In this paper, scandium molybdate microstructures have been prepared from solution via a microwave heating method. By controlling the experimental parameters such as molar ratio of reagent and reaction time, scandium molybdates with tunable phase and diverse morphologies including snowflakes, microflowers, microsheets, and branched spindles were obtained. The density of states and surface energies of Sc2Mo3O12 were primarily studied from first-principles calculations. An indirect band gap of 3.56 eV was observed for crystalline Sc2Mo3O12, and the surface energies of various facets were determined to be 0.27–0.91 J/m2. The influence of n(Sc3+):n(Mo7O24 6?) (short for Sc/Mo) molar ratio was systematically investigated and well-characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), and UV–vis absorption spectroscopy (UV–vis). Results indicate that the Sc/Mo molar ratio has a great effect on the phase and morphology. Diffuse reflection spectra (DRS) revealed the Egap can be readily tuned from 3.69 to 4.16 eV, which is in accordance with the theoretical result. The photoluminescence (PL) properties of Eu3+-doped Sc2Mo3O12 were discussed. This facile synthesis strategy could be extended to the synthesis of other molybdates.

  • An Interdisciplinary Approach to the Nanomanipulation of SiO2 Nanoparticles: Design, Fabricationand Feasibility

    摘要: Although some recent developments in nanotechnology made the prospects of a direct mechanical manipulation of micro- or nano-objects quite realistic, there are still several concerns and difficulties that affect such an endeavor. This is probably due to the large base of knowledge that is necessary to approach the problem of handling a nano-object by means of a nano- or micro-device. Therefore, any progress in this field is possible only by means of an integrated and interdisciplinary approach, which takes into account different aspects of the phenomenon. During the actual pioneering phase, there is a certain convenience in handling nano-objects that: (a) have peculiar known characteristics; (b) are easily recognizable, and (c) are interesting to the scientific community. This paper presents the interdisciplinary activities that were necessary to set up an experiment where specifically synthesized SiO2 particles came in contact with the tips of specifically-designed and -fabricated nanomanipulators. SiO2 mesoporous nanoparticles (KCC-1), having a peculiar dendritic structure, have been selected as a suitable nano-object because of the possibility to easily modulate their morphology. The expected contact force has been also calculated by means of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) electro-mechanical simulations.

  • A Facile Route for NLO Materials: Three-Site Alivolent Substitution Involving One Cation and Two Anions

    摘要: Two mixed-metal gallium iodate fluorides, namely, α- and β-Ba2[GaF4(IO3)2](IO3) (1 and 2) have been obtained by the aliovalent substitutions of α- and β-Ba2[VO2F2(IO3)2](IO3) (3 and 4) involving one cationic and two anionic sites. Both of them display large SHG signals (~6 × KDP), large energy bandgaps (4.61 and 4.35 eV), wide transmittance ranges (~0.27-12.5 μm), and large relevant LDTs (29.7 × and 28.3 × AgGaS2, respectively), which indicates that 1 and 2 are potential second-order NLO materials in ultraviolet to mid-infrared. Our studies propose that three-site aliovalent substitution is a facile route for the discovery of good NLO materials.

  • Structural and Optical Properties of CeO2 Nanoparticles Synthesized by Modified Polymer Complex Method

    摘要: Ceria nanoparticles (Ceria-NPs) were synthesized using a modified polymer complex method and their structural and optical properties were evaluated. The solids were heated at 550 °C and characterized using Raman, UV–Vis absorption, diffuse reflectance, X-ray photoelectron and photoluminescence spectroscopies, X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning and transmission electron microscopy. The primary particles obtained presented a size of ~ 10 nm. The XRD indicated that CeO2 was the only crystalline phase. From the UV–Vis and diffuse reflectance spectra, energy values of 3.8 eV and 3.4 eV were obtained, values that can be associated with band—band electronic transitions and/or with those that involve ionized states located within the gap caused by defects and isolated atoms of Ce3+. Photoluminescence spectra reiterated the existence of localized states in the gap. Raman spectra revealed the existence of peroxide (O2^2-) and superoxide (O2^-) over the surface of the ceria-NPs. The XPS results indicated that the concentrations of Ce3+ and Ce4+ were ~ 20.5% and ~79.5% respectively, and that the stoichiometry of oxygen was 1.9 per atom of Ce. The results obtained from the characterization of CeO2-NPs synthesized make it as promising material for environmental remediation, biomedicine, gas sensing and optoelectronic applications.

  • Activated carbon/metal-organic framework nanocomposite: Preparation and photocatalytic dye degradation mathematical modeling from wastewater by least squares support vector machine

    摘要: Herein, Kiwi peel activated carbon (AC), Materials Institute Lavoisier (MIL-88B (Fe), and AC/MIL-88B (Fe) composite were synthesized and used as catalysts to degrade Reactive Red 198. The material properties were analyzed by the FTIR, BET-BJH, XRD, FESEM, EDX, TGA, and UV–Vis/DRS. The BET surface area of AC, MIL-88B (Fe) and AC/MIL-88B (Fe) was 1113.3, 150.7, and 199.4 m2/g, respectively. The band gap values (Eg) estimated by Tauc plot method, were obtained 5.06, 4.19 and 3.79 eV for AC, MIL-88B (Fe) and AC/MIL-88B (Fe), respectively. The results indicated that the AC/MIL-88B (Fe) composite had higher photocatalytic activity (99%) than that of pure AC (79%) and MIL-88B (Fe) catalysts (87%). The decolorization kinetic was matched well with the second-order model. Moreover, the data were modeled using least squares support vector machine which optimized with Cuckoo optimization algorithm. The optimal parameters were found 0.837 and 3.49e+02 based on σ2 and γ values, respectively. The mean square error (MSE) and correlation coefficient (R2) values were obtained 3.97 and 0.948. Therefore, the attained data, materials characterization and prediction of modeling validate the composite form of MIL-88B(Fe) with new AC, had better photocatalytic activity in comparison with the individual form.

  • Synthesis of tetra-substituted phthalocyanines bearing 2-(ethyl(m-tolyl)amino)ethanol: Computational and photophysicochemical studies

    摘要: This work presents the synthesis of 4-(2-(ethyl(m-tolyl) amino) ethoxy) phthalonitrile (1) as ligand and its peripherally tetrasubstituted metal-free (2) and metallophthalocyanines (3-5) derivatives. Synthesized compounds were characterized by standart spectroscopy methods. The molecular structure of the ligand (1) was confirmed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction experiment. The crystallographic information file (cif) was uploaded to the data center with CCDC number 1853485. The optimized structure of the ligand (1) and the phthalocyanines (2-5) were obtained by using different metods such as B3lyp, HF and m062x method 3-21g, 6-31g, sdd basis set. In b3lyp/6-31++g(d,p) basis set, 1H and 13C NMR chemical shifts, IR spectrum and UV-Vis spectrum were measured in gas, chloroform and dimethylsulfoxide phase by means of the obtained optimized structure. Besides, the photophysical and photochemical properties of newly synthesized phthalocyanines (2-5) were investigated in DMSO, comparatively. Singlet oxygen quantum yields of the phthalocyanines (2-5) are ranging from 0.28 to 0.70.
