    摘要: The development of PV-systems has increased due to the high demand for clean energy. Used worldwide in the distributed power generation markets, the photovoltaic energy must not only be maximized, but also adapted to the global standards on harmonic emissions towards the power utility. Hence, the tracking of the maximum power point and the harmonic filtering becomes necessary. A three-phase single stage grid-connected Photovoltaic system consisting of a photovoltaic array and a three-phase PWM inverter coupled through the LCL-filter to the electrical grid is studied in this paper. A new control design is developed to maximize power in the side of PV panels and to ensure a unit power factor at the grid side. Grid synchronization is provided by a three-phase PLL (Phase-Locked Loop) and the closed-loop stability is demonstrated using Lyapunov analysis. Simulation results clearly illustrate that the proposed controller has achieved all of its objectives. In order to demonstrate the performance of the LCL-filter in minimizing the harmonics produced by the photovoltaic inverter, the frequency response of the injected currents was compared to that obtained using a simple L-filter.

    摘要: An open-winding permanent-magnet synchronous generator (PMSG) system with the integration of fully controlled and uncontrolled converter is investigated in this paper, in which half the amount of controllable power switches are needed compared with the conventional open winding system fed by two voltage source converters. The voltage space vector of open winding PMSG is modulated by controlled converter, which will be integrated with the voltage vector by uncontrolled converter to implement the operation of open winding PMSG. In order to analyze and compare the operation capability on the different dc voltage ratios, the available modulation range of the open winding PMSG is analyzed in detail. Moreover, unity power factor control is proposed as the optimized control method to achieve the maximum modulation index. Finally, a 1-kW experimental setup is built to validate the theoretical investigation on the open winding PMSG system.

    摘要: This paper presents a multifunctional voltage sourced-converter (VSC) controlled solar photovoltaic (SPV) system with a generalized ‘dq’ and adaptive PLL-based include approach to extract the dual features. These enhanced active power sharing feature based on the availability of active power at DC-side collector bus while also serving as an active harmonic filter (AHF). The presented control is computationally less intensive and easy to formulate compared to its conventional counterpart like synchronous reference frame theory (SRFT). The objective of this work is to effectively extract the various ancillary services offered by multifunctional VSC in the power distribution system. The primary function of any grid- connected inverter (GCI) is to serve the active power demand of the load connected at the point of interconnection (PoI) in the power distribution network. However, the multifunctional VSC with presented control approach can also be utilized as AHF to attenuate the rich harmonic content present in source current, to mitigate the load reactive current demand, and to adequately supply the zero sequences harmonic component requirement of the unbalanced and nonlinear load by the fourth leg of the multifunctional VSC. Additionally, the proposed system typically ensures the unity power factor (UPF) operation. An incremental conductance (IC) based control technique is employed to optimize and continuously track the maximum intermittency. The power point usefulness of is demonstrated through transient test cases, conducted in the MATLAB/Simulink software environment. Additionally, its practicality is validated through a comprehensive set of experimental studies investigated on a laboratory developed prototype.

  • Grid Integration Scheme for a Three Phase Single Stage Photovoltaic system employing EKF

    摘要: In this work, a nonlinear Kalman filer based synchronization strategy is proposed for a single stage three phase grid tied PV system. We employed Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) to estimate the fundamental voltage components of the voltage at Point of common coupling (PCC) and the fundamental components of the load current. A Proportional-Integral (PI) controller is designed to control the DC bus capacitor voltage. Simulation and experimental studies of the proposed EKF based control scheme show that the proposed control scheme provides maximum PV power extraction and mitigates load current harmonics while reducing the Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) of the grid current and PCC voltage to a lower value these are well within the prescribed limits of IEEE 519 standards even for distorted grid voltage condition.
