Inkjet Printed hybrid light sensors based on Titanium Dioxide and PEDOT:PSS
摘要: We demonstrate photodetectors sensitive to ultraviolet light entirely developed by means of inkjet printing technique and based on titanium dioxide and PEDOT:PSS. Devices have a lateral architecture and are realized on a plastic substrate, thanks to the low thermal budget production process. Pure titania devices behave as standard photodetectors, increasing their conductivity by more than 4 orders of magnitude upon UV light exposure. Bilayers of PEDOT:PSS and titania show an inverted behavior, with a high conductivity in the dark which drops by 7 orders of magnitude upon light exposure: this is likely due to the fast recombination of PEDOT:PSS holes with photogenerated TiO2 electrons. The series connection of pure TiO2 and of PEDOT:PSS/TiO2 bilayer is suggested as the basis for the development of low-power, complementary–like, photosensitive voltage dividers.

LLC Resonant Voltage Multiplier-Based Differential Power Processing Converter Using Voltage Divider with Reduced Voltage Stress for Series-Connected Photovoltaic Panels under Partial Shading
摘要: Partial shading on photovoltaic (PV) strings consisting of multiple panels connected in series is known to trigger severe issues, such as reduced energy yield and the occurrence of multiple power point maxima. Various kinds of differential power processing (DPP) converters have been proposed and developed to prevent partial shading issues. Voltage stresses of switches and capacitors in conventional DPP converters, however, are prone to soar with the number of panels connected in series, likely resulting in impaired converter performance and increased circuit volume. This paper proposes a DPP converter using an LLC resonant voltage multiplier (VM) with a voltage divider (VD) to reduce voltage stresses of switches and capacitors. The VD can be arbitrarily extended by adding switches and capacitors, and the voltage stresses can be further reduced by extending the VD. Experimental verification tests for four PV panels connected in series were performed emulating partial shading conditions in a laboratory and outdoor. The results demonstrated the proposed DPP converter successfully precluded the negative impacts of partial shading with mitigating the voltage stress issues.

摘要: This paper describes minimalistic, economic, automated, digital sampling calibration setup for calibration of a strain gauge bridge calibration unit BN100 or similar high division ratio dividers. The setup uses impedance divider instead of the IVD as the reference divider. It achieves comparable or better uncertainty for division ratios below 1 mV/V compared to the IVD based methods. For 1 mV/V the expanded uncertainty (k = 2) is 8 nV/V from the input.

摘要: Ultra-high-voltage (UHV) lightning impulse voltage dividers normally have limited bandwidth, which deforms the waveform of the measured impulse. The step response of the dividers can be used to correct the measured waveforms by de-convolution, reducing the errors of the impulse parameters. The circuit arrangement for measuring step response, however, may influence the measured step response and the corrected impulse waveforms. In this paper, two circuit arrangements of step response measurement were used in investigating the effect of different step responses on the corrected impulses. The lightning impulses measured using two UHV dividers were corrected and the errors of the impulse parameters before and after correction were determined. The results show that accurate correction can be made for the dividers without being affected by the external connection arrangement of the step response measurement.

摘要: We use a precision inductive voltage divider and a lock-in amplifier to extend the voltage range of a Josephson arbitrary waveform synthesizer with a maximum voltage of 250 mV rms to provide accurate voltage measurements up to 120 V. Experimental results show that the output of the JAWS can be extended to high voltages with uncertainties of a few microvolts per volt or less, depending on the voltage amplitude and frequency.

摘要: We present a method for the voltage ratio calibration of inductive voltage dividers using quantum accurate pulse-driven Josephson standards. The inductive voltage divider calibration is carried out at 497 Hz with RMS amplitudes of 40 mV and 100 mV and is compared with conventional bootstrapping calibrations performed at 1 V. In these preliminary measurements, the new calibration method reached similar in-phase uncertainties as the bootstrapping method, despite the large difference in input voltages.

摘要: High-resolution multiplying digital-to-analog converters (MDACs) are often used as digitally controlled AC instruments and measurement voltage dividers systems. Proper application of these converters requires knowledge of their parameters, especially amplitude and phase errors, which are usually not specified by MDAC manufacturers. The paper presents phase errors of selected commercial 16- and 18-bit MDACs measured with a dedicated sampling system. These errors were determined as a function of frequency of the divided sinusoidal voltage and as a function of the MDAC digital input word.

摘要: We present a setup for linearity investigation of high precision bridge amplifiers as used for strain gauge transducer in static force and torque measurements. The setup allows to characterize bridge amplifiers in much more detail than the 0.1 mV/V step size of the BN100 bridge standard or a recently proposed resistor-based strain gauge bridge transducer simulator. Only with the presented linearity investigation setup it is now possible to verify the specified uncertainty of high precision bridge amplifiers of 5 · 10?6 mV/V at 225 Hz.

Calibration of the Absolute Linearity of Lock-In Amplifiers
摘要: This paper describes the development of a system capable to calibrate the absolute linearity of lock-in amplifiers in their 1-μV range for frequencies between 20 Hz and 1 kHz. The system is based on cascaded inductive voltage dividers that have been especially designed to maximize their input impedance and to have minimal influence on the previous stage. The cascaded topology reduces the uncertainty for very large ratios (>1000:1) and reaches measurement uncertainties below 1 nV at 10 μV.
