Pressure dependence of high order harmonic generation in nitrogen molecular gas and atmospheric air
摘要: The effect of the variation of the gas pressure on the high harmonic generation (HHG) from nitrogen molecular gas (N2) and atmospheric air with ultrashort intense laser pulses is measured. The optimum pressure in the interaction region of a gas jet for maximizing the HHG yield is determined for both gases. Enhancement of the HHG output and its extension to higher harmonic orders are observed around the optimum pressure value of 0.33 bar. Theoretical calculations based on one-dimensional models explain this effect and provide reasonable agreement with experimental results.

High resolution time- and angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy with 11 eV laser pulses
摘要: Performing time- and angle-resolved photoemission (tr-ARPES) spectroscopy at high momenta necessitates extreme ultraviolet laser pulses, which are typically produced via high harmonic generation (HHG). Despite recent advances, HHG-based setups still require large pulse energies (from hundreds of μJ to mJ) and their energy resolution is limited to tens of meV. Here, we present a novel 11 eV tr-ARPES setup that generates a flux of 5 × 1010 photons/s and achieves an unprecedented energy resolution of 16 meV. It can be operated at high repetition rates (up to 250 kHz) while using input pulse energies down to 3 μJ. We demonstrate these unique capabilities by simultaneously capturing the energy and momentum resolved dynamics in two well-separated momentum space regions of a charge density wave material ErTe3. This novel setup offers the opportunity to study the non-equilibrium band structure of solids with exceptional energy and time resolutions at high repetition rates.

Resonance Enhancement in Laser-Produced Plasmas (Concepts and Applications) || Front Matter
摘要: The motivation in writing this book is to show the most recent findings of newly emerged field of resonance-enhanced high-order harmonic generation (HHG) using the laser pulses propagating through the narrow and extended laser-produced plasma plumes. It becomes obvious that the developments in this field are aimed for improvement of harmonic yield through precise study of resonance effects during fine-tuning of driving pulses to the resonances. The purpose of writing this book is to acquaint the readers with the most advanced, recently developed methods of plasma harmonics generation at the conditions of coincidence of some harmonics, autoionizing states, and some ionic transitions possessing strong oscillator strengths. This book demonstrates how one can improve the plasma harmonic technique using this approach.

摘要: In recent advance, laser atom interaction has made significant progress in theoretical and experimental method. This article is devoted to a review of recent relativistic High Harmonic Generation (HHG) and Above Threshold Ionization (ATI) in intense laser field is investigated via the Klein-Gordon equation with ponderomotive approach. Thus, in relativistic effects at higher intensity are discussed within strong field approximation (SFA). Moreover, with this relativistic effect shows the simple representation in harmonic spectrum for Ar8+ ion exposed to 800 nm laser field and will be given current information on how the harmonic spectrum changes and how it will be affected attosecond pulse production in ultra-fast dynamic.
