    摘要: Electrodynamical characteristics of the two-dimensional photonic crystal waveguide are considered. Effect of the width of hollow waveguide channel on the dispersion characteristics and spatial distribution of electric field is analyzed. Slow wave localized modes with phase velocity less than speed of light are supported by photonic crystal waveguide and can be used for synchronization with linear electron beams in the terahertz beam-wave systems. Widening of the waveguide hollow channel does not result in significant decrease of the electric field intensity on the axis of waveguide as occur in metallic slow-wave systems.

    摘要: Dispersion gyrotropic magnetophotonic one-dimensional crystal with semiconductor and ferrite layers is obtained. Analysis of the dispersion diagrams for different values of the anisotropic layers effective permittivity and permeability is carried out. Dispersion properties of the structure for surface and bulk waves TE and TM modes are analyzed for different material parameters and geometrical sizes of magnetophotonic crystals. Surface and bulk wave regimes are investigated. Polarization indifference for structure under investigation is shown.

    摘要: The grid-connected photovoltaic power generation system (GPPGS) with high proportion of renewable energy has the ability to load balance. A strategy is proposed for GPPGS based on droop control. The electric torque analysis method (ETAM) is used to establish mathematical model of the system with DC voltage timescale (DVT) and analyze the influence law of inertia, damping and synchronization characteristics from the physical mechanism perspective. The research finds that the equivalent inertia, damping and synchronization parameters of the system are determined by the control parameters, structural parameters and steady-state operating point parameters. Changing the control parameters is the simplest and most flexible way to influence the inertia damping and synchronization ability of the system. The inertia characteristics of the system are greatly influenced by the control parameter Kp and enhanced with the increase of Kp. The damping characteristics of the system are obviously affected by the control parameter Dp and weakened with the increase of Dp. The synchronization effect of the system is only controlled by the parameter Ki and enhanced with the increase of Ki. The effectiveness and correctness of the analysis conclusion are verified by simulation.

  • A new acoustic emission on-line monitoring method of laser shock peening

    摘要: Laser shock peening (LSP) is an advanced surface modification technology that can harden metallic materials by using plasma shock waves. It has significant technical advantages and has important application value in various fields like the aerospace, defense and military. In order to realize the large-scale industrial production of LSP, it is necessary to strengthen on-line monitoring of its working status. Acoustic emission (AE) is a dynamic non-destructive technique to evaluate the material performance change in real-time, which overcomes many shortcomings of traditional non-destructive testing methods and has been successfully applied to on-line monitoring of LSP. Generally the signal and characteristic parameters of AE are affected by sensor position, which is inconvenient to evaluate the quality of LSP in unified standard. The propagation characteristics of AE and the planar positioning function of AE were concerned in this work, the AE energy of material was obtained from detected waveforms and characteristic parameters of AE by calculation, which is helpful to realize the on-line monitoring of LSP.

  • Electron transport material effect on performance of perovskite solar cells based on CH3NH3GeI3

    摘要: Recently, organic-inorganic perovskite-based solar cells have become promising devices due to their unique proprieties in photovoltaic field. In this scenario, several studies focusing on perovskite solar cells based on Pb-perovskite layer. However, the factor of toxicity and stability of these devices is the main challenge to the progress in commercial production. In this study, a numerical modeling of perovskite solar cells using an alternative candidate which is Germanium as a perovskite material. This later is investigated in order to over- come the toxicity and stability effects on perovskite solar cells, and they exhibit similar photovoltaic perfor- mances as Pb-perovskite solar cells. Therefore, the effect of different kinds of electron transporting layer (ETL) materials on Ge-perovskite solar cell design is studied and investigated to enhance the conversion efficiency of perovskite devices. The obtained simulation results illustrate that perovskite solar cells based on C60 as ETL exhibit 13.5% of power conversion efficiency compared to that with other ETL materials. Thus, inserting C60 in perovskite solar cell design possibly will be considered as novel designing for future Ge-perovskite solar cells. The numerical simulation was performed using 1D-Solar Cell Capacitance Simulator (1D- SCAPS).

  • Interface-controlled band alignment transition and optical properties of Janus MoSSe/GaN vdW heterobilayers

    摘要: Here, based on first-principles calculations, we construct theoretically two-dimensionally (2D) Janus MoSSe/GaN van der Waals (vdW) heterobilayers, and demonstrate that it has direct band structures and staggered type-II band alignments, and the gap values are modified. Moreover, the interlayer coupling and electronic field effects on electronic structures depend on interface characteristics in Janus MoSSe/GaN heterobilayers. The studies provide the idea to modify the electronic characteristics using interface characteristics in the 2D materials-based vdW heterostructures.

    摘要: A novel omnidirectional filtering antenna with great filtering characteristics is presented. Firstly, a wideband bandpass filter (BPF) with Butterworth functional response based on coupled-line structure is designed and numerically analyzed. Then, a disc type omnidirectional antenna is proposed. When they are integrated together by using co-design approach, the signals from BPF couple to the antenna, thus, the omnidirectional filtering antenna is realized. The proposed antenna can provide a good frequency selectivity and high stopband suppression performance.

  • Optimized arrangement of vertical cavity surface emitting laser arrays to improve thermal characteristics

    摘要: An optimization method for an arrangement of vertical cavity surface emitting laser (VCSEL) arrays to improve thermal characteristics of the arrays is presented. The method is based on the principle of minimum potential energy and is implemented by a self-organizing algorithm. The thermal and electrical properties of the active regions of the unoptimized and optimized arrays were obtained by a self-consistent thermoelectric simulation of the VCSEL structure based on the finite element method. The output characteristics of the unoptimized and optimized 4 × 4 square VCSEL arrays were studied theoretically and practically. The results showed that the optimized arrays have improved thermal characteristics.

  • Estimation on hazardous characteristics of the components from linear type of end-of-life light-emitting diode lamps

    摘要: The supply of light-emitting diode (LED) lamps has been expanding as lighting devices to replace fluorescent lamps. Accordingly, it is expected that a large amount of end-of-life LED lamps will be generated. Among various types of LED lamps, liner LED lamps are generally used. Since linear LED lamps have been reported to use hazardous materials such as As and Pb, the hazardous characteristics of end-of-life LED lamps were estimated. To verify the hazardous characteristics of end-of-life linear LED lamps, leaching tests such as Korea Extraction Test (KET) and Toxicity Characteristics Leaching Procedure (TCLP) were carried out for the overall mixture and the each component of end-of-life linear LED lamps. The linear LED lamp is generally composed of cover, frame, LED, the driver and others. The portions of LED and the driver in linear LED lamp are only about 1% and 10%, respectively. End-of-life linear LED lamp can be non-hazardous waste because leaching concentrations of heavy metals in the overall mixture of end-of-life linear LED lamp were lower than the regulatory level. Since leaching concentrations of As, Pb and Cu in LED and the driver were higher than the regulatory level, however, LED and the driver can be classified as the hazardous waste.

  • Noise characteristics improvement of submicron InP/InGaAs avalanche photodiode for laser detection system

    摘要: InP/InGaAs avalanche photodiodes have attracted much attention in optoelectronics and long distance optical communication systems due to their high bit rate and gain-bandwidth. In this paper, to improve the noise characteristics in laser detection systems, separate absorption, grading, charge, and multiplication InP/InGaAs avalanche photodiode (SAGCM APD) with double guard rings and three thin layers of InGaAsP has been simulated. In addition, the multiplication width of SAGCM APD has been optimized which enhances the noise characteristics. The Photocurrent and dark current are acquired as and resulting in superior electrical properties among the other works. The excess noise factor in the constant mean gain of has been reduced 10.3% in comparison with recent SAGCM APDs. The calculated results show that the reduction of dark current and the excess noise factor increase the SNR for about orders of magnitude.
