Rapid Determination of Mercury Speciation in Marine Products by Molecular Spectrometry
摘要: A method is developed for the determination of content of inorganic mercury, methylmercury, ethylmercury, and phenylmercury in marine products by molecular spectroscopy with microliquid extraction. Ultrasonic extraction pretreatment is performed, C18 column and rotary evaporator are used for concentrating eluent, and liquid chromatography–ultraviolet (UV) digestion molecular spectrometry is used for analysis. Detection conditions of various forms of mercury compounds are optimized, and the content and UV digestion conditions of each component in the mobile phase are compared through experiments. The standard recovery rate of experimental samples is generally in the range of 90–106%; measured results are satisfactory, and have less interference, which provides reliable technical support for speciation analysis of mercury in marine products.

Performance evaluation of the SIMBIO-SYS Stereo Imaging Channel on board BepiColombo/ESA spacecraft
摘要: The Stereo Imaging Channel (STC) is one of the channels of the Spectrometer and Imagers for MPO BepiColombo Integrated Observatory SYStem (SIMBIO-SYS) onboard the ESA BepiColombo mission to Mercury. STC is a double wide-angle camera designed to image each portion of the Mercury surface from two different lines of sights, whose main aim is to provide panchromatic stereo-image pairs required to generate the Digital Terrain Model (DTM) reconstruction. In addition, selected surface areas will be acquired in color. This work presents the expected STC on-ground and in-flight performance describing the preliminary evaluation of some key parameters: the optical performance, the on-ground resolution and detector response, the achievable Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) for different integration times and observation strategies and the global coverage of panchromatic filters during the entire scientific phase. The estimation of the SNR has been made using the STC radiometric model with Hapke reflectance model for Mercury surface and the SPICE toolkit software. The SPICE toolkit software with kernel for BepiColombo mission has been used also for the estimation of the on-ground pixel dimension and the global coverage all over the mission.

On/off rhodamine-BODIPY based fluorimetric/colorimetric sensor for detection of mercury(II) in half-aqueous medium
摘要: A turn on/off rhodamine-BODIPY (RB) fluorescent sensor has been designed for selective and sensitive detection of Hg(II) cation in half-aqueous solution. For this purpose, a Bodipy derivative having dual-cores is bilaterally bound to a rhodamine containing dual-amine moieties. The newly prepared sensor reacts with mercury (II) salt to generate a product with different optical parameters. These are changes confirmed by both absorption, emission and excitation measurements. “A blue shift is observed as the ‘Turn-off’ change the pink color to transparent upon the addition of Hg (II) ions which is assigned to suppression of fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) upon mercury (II) ion affinity. Selectivity towards Hg(II) ion is found to depend upon cavity size created of the amino moieties of rhodamine and the carbonyls of Bodipy to the metal ion. Sensor RB is selective and sensitive to Hg(II) with a detection limit (1.94 (?0.2) 10-8 M). The three-way fluorescent probe can be selectively applied for the detection of mercury (II) ion in real water samples.
