Investigation on Near-Infrared Quantitative Detection based on Heteromorphic Sample Pool
摘要: To enhance the detection precision of samples with scattering characteristics by near infrared spectroscopy (NIRS), this study developed a heteromorphic sample pool and established the related 2D light intensity acquisition system, which can simultaneously acquire multi-path exit light adsorption and scattering information of the samples under test. The Intralipid-20% phantom solutions in 34 samples with different concentrations were detected, while one-dimensional (1D) exit light intensity distributions and two-dimensional (2D) exit light intensity distributions on the surface of the samples were analyzed and modeled using partial least squares. In contrast with the prediction results based on the modeling method of 1D exit light intensity distribution, the modeling method of 2D exit light intensity distribution exhibits more favorable results; specifically, correlation coefficient enhanced by 2.48%, while root mean square error reduced by 6.89%. The experimental results demonstrate that using heteromorphic sample pool can effectively achieve NIRS-based detection precision and speed of chemical components in the solutions with scattering characteristics, which can provide important references for high-throughput and high-precision detection of turbid media in analytical chemistry.

A 10-year record of aerosol optical properties and radiative forcing over three environmentally distinct AERONET sites in Kenya, East Africa
摘要: In the framework of Aerosol Robotic Network (AERONET), the aerosol optical, microphysical and radiative properties were investigated over three sites (CRPSM_Malindi, Nairobi, and ICIPE_Mbita) in Kenya, East Africa (EA) during 2006-2015. The annual mean (±σ) aerosol optical depth at 440 nm (AOD440) was found high at Mbita (0.27±0.09) followed by Malindi (0.26±0.07), and low at Nairobi (0.19±0.04). Whereas, the seasonal mean AOD440 noticed high (low) values during the local dry (wet) seasons. The aerosol optical properties: AOD, single scattering albedo (SSA), asymmetry parameter (ASY), and complex aerosol refractive index (RI) exhibited significant temporal and spectral heterogeneities illustrating the complexity of aerosol types with an abundance of fine-mode aerosols during the local dry (JJA) season. Characterization of major aerosol types revealed the dominance of mixed-type followed by biomass burning aerosols. The aerosol volume size distribution revealed that the coarse- over fine-mode aerosols showed a significant contribution to the total volume particle concentration, especially at high (> 0.3) AOD440. Further, the aerosol columnar number size distribution (CSD) retrieved from the King’s inversion of spectral AOD exhibited a power law distribution affirming multiplicity of aerosol sources. The direct aerosol radiative forcing values simulated in the shortwave region using the Santa Barbara DISORT Atmospheric Radiative Transfer (SBDART) model showed good correlation (r=>0.85) with the AERONET derived ones at the top-of-atmosphere (TOA), bottom-of-atmosphere (BOA) and within the atmosphere (ATM). The annual mean (±σ) TOA, BOA, and ATM forcing values were found in the range from -8.10±3.75 to -13.23±4.87, -34.54±4.86 to -46.11±10.27, and 26.63±6.43 to 36.24±7.26 Wm-2, respectively, with an atmospheric heating rate (AHR) of 0.74±0.12–1.02±0.20 K day-1. The SBDART-derived DARF exhibited significant temporal heterogeneity with high (low) during the local dry (wet) seasons. Results derived from the present study forms a basis for regional climate change studies and could increase the accuracy of climate models over this unexplored region of Africa.

摘要: In this paper, dc vacuum surface flashover properties of low density polyethylene (LDPE) film covered with dopamine (Dp)-silver (Ag)-Dopamine (Dp) sandwich structure on the surface by immersing LDPE in dopamine solution(6h), silver nitrate (0.5h, 1h, 2h, 4h) and dopamine (24h) solution in order was researched. Scanning electron microscopic (SEM), surface potential decay (SPD) and Keithley 6517B were used as characterization methods to evaluate surface morphology, surface trap distribution and surface conductivity separately. These parameters may reveal the influence mechanism of Dp-Ag-Dp sandwich structure on samples surface. SEM images shows that nano-Ag particles attaching on the surface of samples and their size and quantity become larger with silver nitrate solution immersing time prolonging. SPD results indicates that both shallow and deep trap depth move to the deeper direction with increasing modification time, while shallow trap and deep trap density decreases first and then increases with the increase of treating time. Surface conductivity enlarges over silver nitrate processing time. For dc vacuum surface flashover voltage, the results presents that its value increases with silver nitrate treatment time when the samples were soaked in silver nitrate solution for less than 2h. It can be concluded that by modifying surface parameters like trap distribution and surface conductivity covering LDPE film surface with dopamine-silver-dopamine sandwich structure can change dc vacuum surface flashover performance.

摘要: This paper proposes a multiobjective voltage unbalance factor to estimate single-phase photovoltaic (PV) hosting capacity in 3-phase residential networks. This factor is derived from a combination of various components, including zero and negative-sequence voltage unbalance factors associated with the inherent variability and uncertainty of both loads and PV generation. A time-varying probabilistic ZIP load model is also incorporated in the proposed factor to characterize the uncertainty of voltage-dependent loads within each hour of a day over four seasons. The location, size and phase allocation of PV units are randomly generated. Simulation results obtained on a modified IEEE 4-bus test feeder and the IEEE European low voltage test feeder show that the developed approach can provide a better response to the hourly-varying and uncertain behaviors of loads and generation.

Integral Characteristics of Wave Packets in the Problem of the Evolution of A Wave Function on A One-Dimensional Lattice
摘要: We consider the quantum dynamics of charge transfer on a lattice in the tight-binding approximation and analytically calculate the integral characteristics of the wave packet propagating along the lattice. We focus on calculating the mean and root-mean-square displacements. We also obtain expressions for higher-order moments as series for squares of Bessel functions, which might be independently interesting.

Preliminary analysis of the relationship between serum lutein and zeaxanthin levels and macular pigment optical density
摘要: Purpose: To assess the relationship between combined serum lutein and zeaxanthin (L+Z) concentration and macular pigment optical density (MPOD), and to investigate the effect of L+Z+docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) dietary supplementation on the spatial distribution of MPOD. Methods: Twenty healthy fellow eyes with unilateral wet age-related macular degeneration or chronic central serous chorioretinopathy were included. All participants received a dietary supplement for 6 months that contained 20 mg L, 1 mg Z, and 200 mg DHA. The best-corrected visual acuity and contrast sensitivity (CS) were measured at baseline and at 1, 3, and 6 months. Serum L+Z concentrations were measured at baseline and at 3 months. MPOD was calculated at each time point using fundus autofluorescent images. Results: Serum L+Z concentration was correlated with MPOD at 1°–2° eccentricity at baseline (r=0.63, P=0.003) and 3 months (r=0.53, P=0.015). Serum L+Z concentration increased by a factor of 2.3±1.0 (P<0.0001). At 6 months, MPOD was significantly higher compared to the baseline level at 0°–0.25° (P=0.034) and 0.25°–0.5° (P=0.032) eccentricity. CS improved after 3 or 6 months of L+Z+DHA supplementation (P<0.05). Conclusion: Juxtafoveal MPOD was associated with serum L+Z concentration. Foveal MPOD was increased by L+Z+DHA dietary supplementation.

摘要: This work proposes a forest model based on Gamma distribution to better describe the forest vertical structure for height inversion using P-band polarimetric synthetic aperture radar interferometry (Pol-InSAR) data. The proposed model takes into account the forest vertical heterogeneity and asymmetry, to which volume interferometric coherence is sensitive. The interferometric coherence associated with a volume where the vertical backscattered power varies following a Gamma distribution is derived. The effect of scattering center height standard deviation and mean elevation to the volume interferometric coherence is investigated. Finally, the strategy of multi-baseline on the proposed model for forest height inversion using P-band Pol-InSAR data is proposed.

Uncertainty Analysis and Experimental Design in the Monte Carlo Ray-Trace Environment
摘要: Despite the dominant role of the Monte Carlo ray-trace (MCRT) method in modern radiation heat transfer analysis, the contemporary literature remains surprisingly reticent on the uncertainty of results obtained using it. After first identifying the radiation distribution factor as a population proportion, standard statistical procedures are used to estimate its mean uncertainty, to a stated level of confidence, as a function of the number of surface elements making up the enclosure and the number of rays traced per surface element. This a priori statistical uncertainty is then shown to compare favorably with the observed variability in the distribution factors obtained in an actual MCRT-based analysis. Finally, a formal approach is demonstrated for estimating, to a prescribed level of confidence, the uncertainty in predicted heat transfer. This approach provides a basis for determining the minimum number of rays per surface element required to obtain the desired accuracy.

摘要: Free space optics (FSO) has achieved prominence in extremely large bandwidth, unlicensed spectrum and low power secure transmission in the field of wireless communication. Despite the advantages, it is deeply impacted due to atmospheric turbulence and fog weather conditions. This paper considers different modulation schemes under the presence of atmospheric turbulence and fog conditions. The desired expression of bit error rate (BER) is obtained by modeling the turbulence as gamma-gamma distributed channel and under this channel condition, 16-PPM has provided better performance than other schemes. BER is considered for the channel performance evaluation. This analysis can help to adopt a modulation technique according to the channel condition.
