A PWM based readout circuit for optical sensors with adaptive frequency control
摘要: This paper proposes a pulse-width modulation-based readout circuit for optical sensors which adopts adaptive frequency control technique to enhance input dynamic range of current sensing systems. The proposed readout circuit is designed and fabricated using a 65 nm CMOS process. The readout IC achieves 100 dB of dynamic range in current sensing system by adaptively controlling the frequency of operating clock.

摘要: This paper presents a visible light communication (VLC) link range extension, achieved by establishing a VLC system using simple, low-cost, and reliable electronic circuitry, and employing a design of a highly resonant frequency selective active band pass filter (infinite gain multiple feedback filter) at the receiver section of the system. The filter was designed for a specific center (resonant) frequency with high Quality factor and gain. An outline of the relationship between Signal-to-Noise ratio (SNR) and transmission distance for three different center frequencies was presented. Results show that by utilizing an IGMF filter at the receiver, a signal-to- noise ratio above 10dB at a distance beyond 1.5 meters can be achieved without any form of lensing at either the transmitter or receiver.

Design of a Simple UV Double Beam Spectrophotometer Detector Based on a High Gain Trans Impedance Operational Amplifiers for RNA Measurement
摘要: In this work a simple double beam spectropho-tometer detector for the nucleic acid detection has been designed. The developed system contains photodiodes as a sensor, logarithamatic transimpedance amplifier circuit and filter circuit.The developed prototype design accuracy is validated by running a RNA sample and the result shows that our simplified developed setup detects the present of RNA in the sample.
