摘要: This paper describes a simple calibration method for nanovoltmeters, that allows the determination and correction of gain errors for the microvolt and nanovolt ranges, giving a real traceability to the low level voltage measurements. The method also permits a realistic estimation of the measurement uncertainty associated to the gain errors of nanovoltmeters that is usually lower than the manufacturer specifications.

摘要: A synchronized current-comparator-based power bridge for calibrating analog merging units at power frequencies of 60 Hz and 50 Hz is described. Analog merging units take analog signals from instrument transformers, convert them into digital form, pack the sampled values into Ethernet frames conforming to the IEC 61850-9-2 LE specification and stream the frames to other equipment in a digital substation for further processing. Since the sampled values are used for protection and metering, the merging units need to be calibrated. The expanded uncertainties (k=2) of the described calibration system are estimated to be better than 30 μA/A for magnitude and 60 μrad for phase.

摘要: TüB?TAK UME has established a new power sensor calibration setup incorporating a monitor power sensor utilizing the direct comparison transfer method for frequencies up to 50 GHz. The system adds to TüB?TAK UME’s existing capability to measure power sensors with type N and 3.5 mm connectors. The new measurement setup was validated using certificate values of power sensors for each working frequency range. Good agreement was found between previous calibration results and those obtained with the new system.

摘要: The effect of the coaxial cable type and length on the lightning impulse parameters is often neglected. However, studies have shown that the coaxial cable length can affect the parameters that are calculated according to IEC 60060-1:2010. This study investigates how different coaxial cables influence the impulse waveforms by measuring the input and output of the cable under test with a 2-channel digitizer. Non-standard lightning impulses were generated using an impulse voltage calibrator. Results indicate that coaxial cables attenuate the test voltage and increase both the front time and time-to-half value.

摘要: A reference system for the calibration of electronic transformer tester based on the digital sampling method is described. The calibration software is designed in conformity to the IEC 61850-9-2/LE standard. The extended uncertainties estimation to the current function of the electronic transformer testers are 5.4E-5 for magnitude and 64μrad for phase displacement with coverage factor k=2. Corresponding to the voltage function, the extended uncertainties are estimated to within 2.2E-5 and 50μrad separately.

摘要: Industries especially telecommunication and aviation industries require RF power sensor calibration. Research Center for Metrology (RCM) – LIPI as National Metrology Institute of Indonesia is responsible to establish RF power sensor calibration. The RF power sensor calibration system in the frequency range of 10 MHz to 18 GHz has been established at RCM - LIPI to build the measurement traceability of RF power sensor in Indonesia. Modification to the conventional direct comparison transfer method has generated more accurate measurement results. Currently, the calibration system is already used to calibrate RF power sensors from calibration laboratories and industries in Indonesia.

摘要: Following the established two-stage conception for the realization of the ultrastable low-noise current amplifier, new variants have been tailored to meet the special requirements of demanding applications. Changes include new components selected according to stability criteria and new design parameters. For most of these variants, calibration capabilities based on a cryogenic current comparator setup have been developed. The overview given in this contribution will focus on aspects of the achievable measurement uncertainty.

摘要: There is a need for traceable calibrations of Phasor measurement units, which measures the phase angle of power system signals with respect to the universal time. This paper describes the design of such a calibration system. The system utilizes a fast A-D converter, synchronized to the Swedish time and frequency realization. The speed and synchronization makes the calibration and adjustment fast and relatively straight-forward. Coaxial dividers and shunts are used for system control. The goal is a three-phase system with an angular uncertainty in the order of, or better than ±0.002° or ±100 ns.

摘要: An ultrastable low-noise current amplifier (ULCA) has been transferred between two laboratories, NPL and PTB, four times, with three of the transfers yielding a relative change in the trans-resistance gain of less than 2×10-7. This is a new benchmark for inter-laboratory transfer of small current.
