研究目的
To design a traceable calibration system for Phasor Measurement Units (PMUs) that measures the phase angle of power system signals with respect to universal time, aiming for an angular uncertainty in the order of, or better than ±0.002° or ±100 ns.
研究成果
The timing error and uncertainty contributions of the ADC system are low enough to achieve well below 100 ns timing uncertainty of the calibration system. Also the shunts and dividers contributions are sufficiently small. The source instability over time will be essential for the achievable accuracy of a calibration and will be further investigated.
研究不足
The source instability over time, typically 10-20 s, will be essential for the achievable accuracy of a calibration. This is however not yet fully investigated with the currently used phantom power source and will be further investigated.
