Design and characterization of the double-layered defected ground structure transmission line with less radiation loss
摘要: A double-layered DGS transmission line is proposed with a smaller DGS size and less radiation loss. Changing the air boundary to a dielectric boundary reduces the effective electric length at the DGS aperture area. An equivalent circuit model is introduced to analyze the DGS transmission line and the resonator circuit designs. Due to the increase in the effective dielectric constant, the proposed structure can be realized with less sensitivity to metallic environments. From the experimental results, the proposed double-layered DGS can achieve a reduction of 90.1% in size and insensitivity at up to 5 mm of separation from the DGS aperture to the metallic plate.

37ps-Precision Time-Resolving Active Quenching Circuit for High-Performance Single Photon Avalanche Diodes
摘要: Time-resolved imaging by means of single-photon avalanche diodes (SPADs) has achieved widespread interest in recent years, especially since technological progress has opened the way to the development of multichannel time-correlated single-photon counting (TCSPC) acquisition systems. Unfortunately, currently available TCSPC imagers feature relatively low performance with respect to state-of-the-art single-channel systems. A real breakthrough in this field would be the exploitation of large arrays of high-performance SPAD detectors developed by means of dedicated fabrication processes, usually referred to as custom technology. Custom-technology SPADs require external electronics potentially leading to interconnection issues for densely integrated arrays. In this paper, we present a new fully integrated front-end circuit able to provide both quenching/reset and timing functionalities while requiring a single connection toward the SPAD. This is the first fully integrated circuit reported in literature that can provide both the timing information about the photon time of arrival with a jitter as low as 37 ps and apply high-voltage pulses up to 50 V in order to meet the requirements of several detectors, including the new red-enhanced SPAD. Combining these two capabilities in a single circuit strongly reduces the complexity of the connection between an array of custom-technology SPADs and the relative external front end, thus paving the way for the exploitation of high-performance SPADs in TCSPC imaging systems.

Al <sup>3+</sup> -Morpholine-appended Anthracene Ensemble as a Dual Photonic Switch for H <sub/>2</sub> PO <sub/>4</sub><sup>?</sup> and CN <sup>?</sup> Ions and its Biological Applications
摘要: A highly selective Al3+-morpholine anthracene (1(cid:129)Al3+) chelate was designed as a novel ?uorescent photonic switch for H2PO4? and CN? ions. The in situ-generated Al3+ chelate could be used to detect H2PO4? ions only in the absence of CN? ions. In contrast, CN? ions effectively extruded Al3+ from the chelate, resulting in the regeneration of probe 1 with a concomitant revival of PET, resulting in a turn-off response. By exploiting the complexation- and decomplexation-aided off–on switching system through the sequential addition of Al3+ followed by H2PO4? or CN?, combinational photonic logic circuits, as well as image-guided ?uorogenic tracking, was demonstrated.

A unimolecular platform based on diarylethene with multiple stimuli-gated photochromism
摘要: The gated photochromic systems have attracted great interest in scientific researches due to their merits in the opto-electronic fields, whereas the multi-stimuli gating function in a unimolecular platform has rarely been addressed. Herein, a new strategy to realize multi-stimuli gated photochromic function was devised relying on a simple Schiff-based diarylethene derivative. The compound shows no photoswitching properties in solution under irradiation with any wavelength of light. It is noteworthy that mecury(II) ions, water and protons can trigger its photo-reactivity independently with different absorption changes, respectively. Therefore, a molecular logic circuit with four inputs, including mecury(II) ions, water, protons and UV light, was fabricated on the basis of the unimolecular platform, suggesting promise for application in multi-controlled photoswitchings. These results could be valuable for the further development of photoswitchings with multiple stimuli responses.

摘要: The difficulty of modeling a dynamic wireless power transfer (DWPT) system for Electric Vehicles(EVs) charging is that its mutual inductance changes with the coil offset, so we have to build a dynamic model of the system. In this paper,we propose a modeling method by using equivalent circuit method and state space averaging.Moreover,based on the set of system parameters,comparing the results of the simulation experiment with the result of the model calculation.At last, the performance indexes of the system under the different buck duty cycle are observed. The simulation results of these indexes are also basically consistent with the model calculation results, which further verify the accuracy of the model.At the same time,we found that the selection of duty cycle has a great influence on the performance indexes.

摘要: Gaussian Monocycle Pulses (GMP) play a very important role in a radar-based painless breast cancer detection system. In order to guarantee the detection accuracy, it is necessary to stabilize the pulse width and the amplitude under the influence of the manufacturing variation of MOSFETs. Therefore, in this paper, the GMP generator with a calibration circuit is proposed. The calibration circuit for adjusting the delay time of each path is realized by MOS capacitor array. The proposed GMP generator has a center frequency of 5.5 GHz, -3dB bandwidth from 2.8 GHz to 9.1 GHz, and 498.6 μW power consumption.

Thermal Influence on S22 kink behavior of a 0.15-μm gate length AlGaN/GaN/SiC HEMT for microwave applications
摘要: Thermal influence on S22 kink behavior has been carried out on a 0.15-μm gate length AlGaN/GaN/SiC high electron mobility transistor over a wide range of temperature. The size and the shape of the S22 kink effect in terms of biasing and temperature have been evaluated. The main finding is that S22 of the studied device is affected by two kinks: the first one appears at approximately 19 GHz and then the second one appears at about 43 GHz. The impact of the intrinsic circuit parameters on the S22 kink phenomena is inspected to assess their contribution. In addition, a new procedure is proposed to quantify this type of phenomenon by defining the kink area as the area between the two curves corresponding to S22 with and without the kink effect. The relevance of this study emerges from the fact that an exhaustive characterization of these anomalous phenomena can empower RF engineers to effectively take them into account for both modeling and design purposes.

Engineering bilinear mode coupling in circuit QED: Theory and experiment
摘要: Photonic states of high-Q superconducting microwave cavities controlled by superconducting transmon ancillas provide a platform for encoding and manipulating quantum information. A key challenge in scaling up the platform towards practical quantum computation is the requirement to communicate on demand the quantum information stored in the cavities. It has been recently demonstrated that a tunable bilinear interaction between two cavity modes can be realized by coupling the modes to a bichromatically driven superconducting transmon ancilla, which allows swapping and interfering the multiphoton states stored in the cavity modes [Gao et al., Phys. Rev. X 8, 021073 (2018)]. Here we explore both theoretically and experimentally the regime of relatively strong drives on the ancilla needed to achieve fast SWAP gates but which can also lead to undesired nonperturbative effects that lower the SWAP fidelity. We develop a theoretical formalism based on linear response theory that allows one to calculate the rate of ancilla-induced interaction, decay, and frequency shift of the cavity modes in terms of a susceptibility matrix. We go beyond the usual perturbative treatment of the drives by using Floquet theory, and find that the interference of the two drives can strongly alter the system dynamics even in the regime where the standard rotating wave approximation applies. The drive-induced ac Stark shift on the ancilla depends nontrivially on the drive and ancilla parameters which in turn modify the strength of the engineered interaction. We identify two major sources of infidelity due to ancilla decoherence. (i) Ancilla dissipation and dephasing lead to incoherent hopping among Floquet states which occurs even when the ancilla is at zero temperature; this hopping results in a sudden change of the SWAP rate, thereby decohering the SWAP operation. (ii) The cavity modes inherit finite decay from the relatively lossy ancilla through the inverse Purcell effect; the effect becomes particularly strong when the ac Stark shift pushes certain ancilla transition frequencies to the vicinity of the cavity mode frequencies. The theoretical predictions agree quantitatively with the experimental results, paving the way for using the developed theory for optimizing future experiments and architecture designs.

摘要: Visible light communication (VLC) system is a wireless communication from light of the light emitting diode (LED). In this work, we design the voltage reference comparator circuit method for the receiver circuit with data communication via white LED. In this experiment, we evaluate the VLC system of the transmitter circuit and receiver circuit by using bits data communication with the distance 50 to 100 cm. We measure the frequency of the white LED signal detection between the transmitter circuit and the receiver circuit, which the frequency uses about 9.615 kHz. This comparator circuit method can be used to refer the voltage signals of the receiver circuit in VLC system.
