To review the photo-physical characteristics of exciplexes derived from the charge-transfer characteristics and their application to OLEDs as emitters, covering single exciplex-emitting OLEDs as well as exciplex emission-based white OLEDs.
研究成果
Exciplexes with TADF characteristics have become a significant subject in OLED research, enabling the theoretical efficiency limit of conventional fluorescent OLEDs to be surpassed. Their broad featureless emission spectra and triplet harvesting ability make them suitable for high-efficiency OLEDs and white OLEDs with good color quality.
