研究目的
Investigating the effect of pulse length on the total ionization yields (TIYs) produced by counter-rotating bicircular (CRBC) lasers compared to co-rotating bicircular (COBC) lasers in strong-?eld ionization of atoms.
研究成果
The study demonstrates that the ratio of total ionization yields for CRBC compared to COBC pulses depends on the number of optical cycles and the frequency combination of the combined ?elds. For pulses containing ?ve or more cycles, the ratio is affected by ionization via excited states and multiphoton ionization channels. For pulses containing less than ?ve cycles, the ratio depends on both the frequency combination and number of optical cycles.
研究不足
The study is limited to the single-active-electron approximation and does not account for multi-electron effects. The findings are specific to the chosen atoms and laser parameters.
