研究目的
Investigating the synthesis of TiO2 nanocrystals with various morphologies and high-energy facets through a microwave-assisted hydrothermal method and evaluating their photocatalytic and photovoltaic performance.
研究成果
The study successfully synthesized TiO2 nanocrystals with various morphologies and high-energy facets using a microwave-assisted hydrothermal method. The {101}/[111]-faceted nanocrystals exhibited the highest photocatalytic and photovoltaic performance, attributed to their minimum particle size and maximum specific surface area. This work provides insights into the design of TiO2 nanocrystals for enhanced photocatalytic and photovoltaic applications.
研究不足
The study focuses on the synthesis and characterization of TiO2 nanocrystals with specific morphologies and facets, but the scalability of the microwave-assisted hydrothermal method and the long-term stability of the nanocrystals in practical applications are not addressed.
