in this paper, an off-grid solar photovoltaic system based on quasi z source DC-DC converter is presented. In mainly renewable energies the big problem is the low voltage produced; so, the most challenge in photovoltaic system is how to increase the input voltage. The first solution is by associate panels in series, it is the mostly way to augment power and voltage, but it can generate a power loses (connection, shading effect). The second solution is by using a DC-DC boost converter, it is an efficacy technique; except, to obtain a high voltage gain it is necessary to increase the duty cycle; that will be saturate the inductors. An evolutionary power electronics converter may be the best solution, the quasi Z source DC-DC converter make it possible to obtain a high voltage gain with a lower duty cycle (0<D<0.5). The objective of this study is to supply the load by high voltage using one photovoltaic panel and quasi Z source DC-DC converter; for that, the system is modeled and controlled by a perturb & observe algorithm MPPT which can generate the duty cycle D of the converter. The analysis is carried out through simulation in the Matlab? environment, the results obtained clearly depicts the viability and the efficiency of the system.
