研究目的
Investigating the mathematical models, computational algorithms, and modeling of nanosecond laser ablation processes on metals, focusing on the mechanisms of explosive boiling and phase explosion.
研究成果
The developed hydrodynamic model and computational algorithm effectively simulate the interrelated mechanisms of heterogeneous and homogeneous evaporation in metals, demonstrating that explosive boiling is a significant thermal mechanism in ns-laser ablation. The presence of a near-surface temperature maximum is crucial for the phase explosion process. The model's reliability was validated through comparison with experimental data and atomistic models.
研究不足
The study is limited by the computational constraints of atomistic modeling methods and the challenges in accurately describing homogeneous phase transitions and calculating material characteristics over a wide range of parameters within the continuum approach.
