A slit lamp and a Sinskey hook were used to lift the ?ap. The edge was identi?ed and disengaged from the beginning to the end of 1 clock hour (30 degrees) at the location. The patient was then taken to the operating room, where the ?ap was lifted gently with forceps. Identical excimer laser devices were used in all re-treatment procedures.

The medical histories were reviewed to collect data on age, sex, eye involved, time from LASIK to enhancement, preoperative and postoperative corrected distance visual acuity (CDVA), postoperative uncorrected distance visual acuity, and the presence of signi?cant EIG.
