The SLR system at SHAO has been upgraded, leading to improvements in the quantity and quality of observational data and system detection capability. The development of SLR technology with 10 kHz repetition rate and space debris laser ranging system has enhanced the detection of weak laser echo signals. Infrared laser ranging technology and laser ranging based on multi-telescopes receiving were also researched, showing potential for improving laser detection capability for space targets.
