The use of PVK and ZnO interlayers significantly improved device performance, making the fabricated OLEDs suitable for large-area, flexible lighting solutions.

1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The study focused on optimizing the ink formulations and coating parameters for each layer of the OLED structure (PET/ITO/PEDOT:PSS/PVK/PFO:tPDI2N-EH/ZnO/Ag) using slot-die-coating in ambient air.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
Flexible PET/ITO substrates were used as the base. The materials included PVK, PEDOT:PSS, PFO, tPDI2N-EH, and ZnO nanoparticles.

A commercially available slot-die coater (Ossila Ltd.), Keithley 2612B source measure unit, 818-SL/DB Si photodetector, TT2-AFM, Cary 60 UV?vis Spectrometer, Cary Eclipse Fluorescence Spectrometer, and a Markforged 3D printer for mask design.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
The layers were sequentially coated on PET/ITO substrates, with each layer's coating parameters optimized for uniformity and performance. The Ag cathode was thermally deposited under vacuum.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
Performance metrics such as turn-on voltage, luminescence, current efficiency, power efficiency, and EQE were measured. AFM was used for surface roughness analysis.
