研究目的
To determine the suitability of laser welding for parts printed by SLM technology and to investigate the initial state of laser weldability of the printed AlSi10Mg material without any special arrangements such as removal of the oxide, surface pretreatment or using filler material.
研究成果
The printed AlSi10Mg can be joined by laser welding without special arrangements. The laser welded AlSi10Mg had an average strength of 163 MPa on non-heat treated material. Further research is needed to find suitable methods for reducing porosity in the welding of printed parts.
研究不足
The formation of pores in the weld was strong, with the largest pores observed being about 0.7 mm in diameter. Despite the formation of pores, the shape of the weld was good, and the amount of welding spatters was small.
