研究目的
Studying the interference of two dispersed laser speckle-fields with a broad frequency spectrum and revealing local small-scale perturbations of interference fringes with an abrupt drop of contrast in the interference picture.
研究成果
Sharp local small-scale perturbations of interference fringes with decreasing contrast in the interference picture were revealed and studied. An analytical description of small-scale perturbations was given on the basis of the linear approximation such as to provide a good agreement with the numerical modeling results, and the probability of their appearance was estimated. It is pointed out that the phenomenon of small-scale perturbations has a mathematical nature, expressing a common property of random complex functions.
