This study has been conducted with a small number of ex vivo tissues in a static organ culture system. The contribution of the neural retina cannot be ignored in the clinical application of FLIO.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
Porcine RPE-choroid-sclera explants were irradiated with selective retina treatment laser. FLIO was used to measure the mean fluorescence lifetime (sm) at 24 and 72 hours after irradiation.

Freshly enucleated porcine eyes were used.

SRT-Laser, FLIO system, calcein-AM, FITC-phalloidin.
