The proposed PSO technique in MPPT control for maximum power absorption from the solar photovoltaic panel was performed aptly, achieving better performance compared to other control techniques. The methodology can control the current in the ac-side, charging and discharging current of the battery at dissimilar levels of solar irradiation, improving the utilization factor of single-phase photovoltaic inverter and reducing temperature deviations on power semiconductor devices.
