The main contribution of this paper is the analysis of the effects of the DC LINK voltage on the output of the 3L-NPC on a specific class of power semiconductor, namely SiC-MOSFET.

The predictive current control of a 3L-NPC inverter fed by a PV power source showed good results in terms of dynamic response and current tracking with a very small THD on the output current. The model of SiC-MOSFET on Simulink reacted as expected under input voltage variations. Future work includes experimental implementation to contrast with simulated results.

The study was conducted through simulations without experimental validation. The physical behavior of components, particularly semiconductors, was not tested in real conditions.
