研究目的
To examine a triple band cylindrical dielectric resonator antenna (CDRA) with three different radiating modes, i.e., HEM11δ, TM01δ, and HEM12δ, and to accomplish the excitation of all these radiating modes simultaneously in CDRA by using composite feeding structure.

The paper presents a novel feeding mechanism to excite triple radiating modes in CDRA, achieving multiband characteristics and diversified radiation patterns. The proposed concept has large possibilities for future research, such as changing the psi-shaped microstrip with other innovative shapes to create other radiating modes in CDRA.

The impedance bandwidth of the frequency band originated due to TM01δ mode is lower compared to the frequency bands generated due to HEM11δ and HEM12δ modes. The tuning of resonant frequency with the help of mathematical equations is quite difficult due to the lack of information regarding coupling factor and quality factor of CDRA.
