研究目的
To create an incentive for electric vehicle and solar PV ownership by fully utilizing the vehicle battery and the PV inverter net metering connection to support the grid and earn revenue, and to demonstrate the feasibility of vehicle-solar-grid integration in simulating school bus operation.
研究成果
The experiments confirmed that it is possible to link a vehicle battery to a photovoltaic inverter and perform ancillary service to the grid. The ancillary service revenue could provide a significant incentive for the electrification of school bus transportation. However, the future environment for ancillary service revenue is uncertain, and there are opportunities to improve the Vehicle-Solar-Grid (VSG) system.
研究不足
The system was limited to ±6 kW due to the DC-DC converter/PV inverter combination only delivering 60% of nominal output. The nonlinearity of the output response to the input signal and the impact of Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) on signal stability and accuracy were also noted as limitations.
