研究目的
Investigating the use of CdSe quantum dots as a fluorescence sensor for the detection of ciprofloxacin based on fluorescence resonance energy transfer (FRET) mechanism.
研究成果
The CdSe QDs-sensitized FRET system exhibits excellent selectivity and sensitivity towards ciprofloxacin determination due to enhancement of the FL intensity along with the strong energy transfer between ciprofloxacin and CdSe QDs. The method was successfully used to detect ciprofloxacin in environmental water and milk samples with a detection limit of 0.6 μmol·L?1.
研究不足
The study does not mention the potential interference from other substances in real samples that might affect the FRET efficiency and the detection limit.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The study utilized CdSe quantum dots (QDs) as a fluorescence sensor for ciprofloxacin detection based on FRET mechanism.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
Environmental water and milk samples were used to test the applicability of the method.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
CdSe QDs were synthesized using wet chemical routes by ultrasonic irradiation. A Hitachi F-7000 spectrofluorometer was used for FL spectra measurements.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
CdSe QDs and different concentrations of ciprofloxacin were mixed and incubated at room temperature in darkness for 30 min before FL spectra measurement.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
The FL intensity was measured and the calibration curve for ciprofloxacin was established according to the FL enhancement efficiency.
