研究目的
Investigating the luminescence properties of novel red-emitting phosphors Ba3B6Si2O16: Eu3+ for near-UV excited LED.
研究成果
Pure phase of triclinic Eu3+ doped Ba3B6Si2O16 red-emitting phosphors were synthesized. The phosphor emits red light with the chromaticity coordinates of (0.6460, 0.3534), quantum efficiency of 36.5% and the activation energy (ΔE) of 0.2121 eV. Ba3B6Si2O16: Eu3+ phosphor can be utilized as a potential red emitting candidate for near-UV chips excited LEDs.
研究不足
The technical and application constraints of the experiments, as well as potential areas for optimization, are not explicitly mentioned in the paper.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The phosphors were synthesized through traditional high temperature solid state reaction.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
BaCO3 (A.R.), SiO2 (A.R.), H3BO3 (A.R.) and Eu2O3 (
3:999%) were used as raw materials. List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
X-ray diffraction (XRD) using a Bruker D8, fluorescence spectrophotometer (model F-4600, Hitachi Ltd., Tokyo, Japan), FEI QUANTA 400 scanning electron microscope, UV?vis?NIR spectrophotometer (Shimadzu, UV-3600 PLUS), Quantaurus-QY (C11347, Hamamatsu).
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
The mixtures were sintered at 900 ℃ for 4 h in air.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
The crystal structure were identified by XRD, photoluminescence (PL) and excitation (PLE) spectra were tested by a fluorescence spectrophotometer.
