Zn2SO4 is found to be the most stable and efficient material as the HRT layer, having the highest efficiency of 17.61% with a 4000 nm thick absorber and a 20 nm thick HRT layer. The enhanced cell efficiency has been attained mostly because of the refinement in the recombination velocity as the result of the changes that HRT layer made in concentration of electrons and holes.

The accuracy of the simulator depends on its number of discrete grid points, which divide the active area into many iterative calculation points. Simulators usually generate the results based on the consideration of the ideal case, which is the main limitation as it gets impractical results in many cases.
