研究目的
To demonstrate the imaging performance of experimental low-terahertz FMCW radar in all-terrain scenarios and to compare it with microwave radar images.
研究成果
The initial 150-GHz experimental results demonstrate the potential of a low-terahertz radar sensor to deliver a high-resolution image of the road environment due to its sensitivity to slight roughness and texture of the imaged objects. Enhanced automatic feature detection will be possible by using further image processing and feature extraction techniques.
研究不足
The study is limited to initial experimental results and does not cover all potential applications or conditions. The comparison between the 150-GHz and 30-GHz radars is not direct due to slight differences in range and angular resolution.
