研究目的
Investigating the use of transparent hydrogenated amorphous silicon (a-Si:H) solar cells for a broad range of applications, including indoor light harvesting.
研究成果
The fabricated transparent a-Si:H solar cells achieved a maximum efficiency of 36.0% under white LED light (3,000 lx and 0.92 mW cm-2) with a transmittance of 20.44%. These cells demonstrated excellent long-term stability, maintaining over 99% of their original efficiency after 200 hours of continuous indoor light illumination. The study suggests that these solar cells could significantly contribute to energy harvesting in IoT applications and the development of integrated photovoltaics.
研究不足
The study focuses on the performance of a-Si:H solar cells under indoor lighting conditions and does not extensively explore their performance under outdoor sunlight or other light sources. The scalability and cost-effectiveness of the proposed solar cells for large-scale applications are not discussed.
