研究目的
Investigating the use of a portable ultra-wideband radar for in-situ, high-resolution radar imaging of moving targets, specifically vehicles and drones, to achieve wide-angle, ultra-wideband ISAR imaging.
研究成果
The study demonstrated the feasibility of wide-angle, UWB ISAR imaging for moving vehicles and in-flight drones, achieving cross-range resolution comparable to down-range resolution. The images revealed important 2-D features on the targets, with potential applications in radar target recognition. Future work could involve collecting data for a larger set of targets to further explore radar target recognition capabilities.
研究不足
1. Limited angular swath due to antenna beamwidth affecting the ability to gather more frontal features. 2. Image distortion from near-field effects, especially noticeable with large flat surfaces. 3. Data collection limited to one vehicle or drone at a time; multiple targets would require separation in range and/or Doppler space.
