研究目的
To develop a portable instrumental system for the routine environmental monitoring of toxic volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in atmospheric conditions based on changes in the photoluminescence emission of semiconductor nanoparticles (quantum dots) entrapped in a sol-gel matrix as the solid sensing material.
研究成果
The developed portable instrument is feasible for environmental analytical control purposes, capable of detecting low levels of gaseous acetone with high sensitivity. The system's versatility allows for adaptation to detect other chemical species by changing the sensing materials.
研究不足
The system's performance may be affected by environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity. Additionally, the presence of methanol can interfere with acetone detection.
