研究目的
To improve the efficiency of DSSC by changing the ratio of NiO/TiO2 in the composite films.
研究成果
Pure TiO2 and NiO/TiO2 composite films can be prepared using spray pyrolysis technique. The dense film structure and smooth surface of the TiO2 and NiO/TiO2 composite film were prepared at 200 oC. The energy conversion efficiency results showed that 0.5 atm% and 1 atm% of NiO/TiO2 composite film give a higher efficiency than the TiO2 film and other NiO/TiO2 films due to the superhydrophilic property.
研究不足
The efficiency of NiO/TiO2 compact layer decreased when the content of NiO is over 2 atm% due to the superhydrophilic properties.
1:Experimental Design and Method Selection:
The spray pyrolysis technique was used for making pure TiO2 and NiO/TiO2 composite films. The effect of the ratio between Ni(NO3)2?6H2O powder and Ti(OCH(CH3)2)4 solution on the efficiency of DSSCs was studied.
2:Sample Selection and Data Sources:
Pure TiO2 and NiO/TiO2 composite films were prepared on FTO and glass substrates.
3:List of Experimental Equipment and Materials:
Field-emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM), X-ray diffractometer (XRD), and UV-VIS spectrophotometer were used for characterization.
4:Experimental Procedures and Operational Workflow:
The films were prepared at 200℃ by spray pyrolysis technique. The surface morphology, crystal structure, and optical properties were characterized.
5:Data Analysis Methods:
The energy conversion efficiency was measured using a Solar Simulator.
