The Nd:YAG pulsed laser micro-milling is capable of producing quality micro-channels on Al2O3. The study successfully identified the influence of laser process parameters on channel geometries and developed mathematical models for predicting these geometries. The findings suggest that laser intensity and scanning speed significantly affect channel depth and width, with less influence from pulse frequency.
