研究目的
To study the fluctuations in the emission characteristics of multi-tip field cathodes based on composites "disordered carbon nanotubes in a polymer matrix" and to understand the nature and regularities of the formation of a macroscopic signal based on microscopic characteristics subject to stochasticity.
研究成果
The analysis of the field enhancement factor distribution on the multi-tip emitter surface, analysis of the individual emission sites fluctuation activity, and modeling of the IVC fluctuations were presented. Future work will aim to simulate the real emitter characteristics changes produced by variation in the external conditions and to understand the interconnection between experimental effective parameters histograms and the distribution of the β on the real field emission cathode.
研究不足
The study uses effective parameters and does not have a direct relationship to the real microscopic parameters of the cathode. The model is based on stochastic thermo desorption of the adsorbates at the CNTs tops and adsorption from the residual atmosphere, which may not fully capture all real-world complexities.
