研究目的
To review the recent studies about the adsorption and separation functional materials, including graphene, graphene oxide, graphene gel, graphene-based sponge, graphene separation membrane as well as graphene continuous oil absorption and separation materials, and to illustrate the research progress with a focus on preparation methods and application prospects.

Graphene and its derivatives have great potential in the adsorption and separation field. Layered graphene membrane and graphene continuous oil absorption and separation materials have more hopeful prospect. However, there are still some shortcomings existing the reaction process, and their practical application needs to be further explored.
研究不足
The preparation process of three-dimensional graphene and composite are more complicated and costly, and it is necessary to seek a simple and economical method for preparing better performance three-dimensional graphene and its composites. The practical application of nanoporous graphene membrane and graphene continuous oil-water separation materials has not been reported yet.
