研究目的
Investigating the impact of organo-modification on nanodispersion behavior in an organic solvent and the relationship between dispersion characteristics in solution and monolayer behavior on the water surface of organo-modified nanoparticle.
研究成果
Organo-modified NDs achieved nanodispersion in organic solvents, with high surface coverage reducing aggregated particle size. Fluorocarbon chain modification enabled dispersion in nonpolar solvents. The study found a close relationship between dispersion characteristics in solution and condensation behavior in monolayers, with high dispersion ability correlating with inferior two-dimensional condensability. Sufficient retention time is crucial for homogeneous monolayer formation due to secondary aggregation at the air/water interface.
研究不足
The study focuses on the dispersion behavior and monolayer formation of organo-modified NDs, with limitations including the specific types of surfactants used and the solvents tested. The research does not explore the mechanical or tribological properties of the formed monolayers in depth.
