To investigate the full width at half-maximum intensity (FWHM) of terajets produced by a dielectric parallelepiped structure made of eight different photopolymers in the frequency range of 0.04-0.2 THz and to analyze the transmission and reflection spectra to observe the terajet effect at specific resonance frequencies.

The resonance nature of terajets was investigated, showing that terajets are observed at specific resonance frequencies. The best resolution was achieved for PLA photopolymer at the 3rd resonance with a FWHM of 0.180λ. The study provides a foundation for creating narrow-band THz devices for sensing, imaging, spectroscopy, and microscopy purposes.

The behavior of terajets for resonances 7-10 becomes unpredictable with the FWHM parameter increasing beyond 0.5 λ, exceeding the diffraction limit. The intensity of the field outside the structure for certain materials was almost zero, indicating no terajet effect.
